Show me where Sharpton or Jesse Jackson has called for their own "community" to do something about this severe problem!!!

I went and watched the video again. Bill not literally say "NO blacks are speaking about these problems" , he essentially said exactly what I have said. Who the hell can hear them if they ARE speaking out.

And to be honest about it, I don't think that is a BLACK problem. I think it is currently an AMERICAN problem. This country is (*)(*)(*)(*)ed up right now and the loudest voices we here are idiots from both sides blabbering about how terrible the other side is and how they don't know anything and blah blah blah , and anytime any person tries to interject any rationality into a topic and suggest that maybe BOTH sides have good points and something to offer those people are shouted down and eventually we just tire of talking and so we're quiet and then everyone else thinks "see EVERYONE with a brain agrees that I AM RIGHT dammit" no matter which side they are on.

So, I'm not blaming blacks, I just fail to see why you have to make excuses for them.

Only people who watch Fox News and ignore the black community think Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are the only black leaders. The black leaders most African Americans hear the most are in their churches and community centers.

Anyway as far as Jesse Jackson you really need to stop posting lies about him.

There you go. Jesse Jackson. Chicago. Black crime. What more do you want?

STop blaming Fox News, Its cowardly of you.

Oh and also admit that when MOST people are talking leaders of the black community, they are thinking about on a national level. Not local church leaders LOL.

 What supposed lies have I posted about him?

you claim these are not the leaders yet all the MSM hold them out to be and nobody speaks out to say "they don't represent me".

    - - - Updated - - -

When all they have is lies and irrational theories, MSNBC tells them to yell FOX NEWS FOX NEWS and maybe nobody will notice.

Where have I made any excuses for black people?! I addressed one meme that appears repeatedly in this forum that is not true. The problems in the black community are very complex and multifactoral. At not time have I ever posted anything on the internet that tried to explain all of them let alone "excuse" them. What I have done from time to time is to put things in the correct context. I really don't see how saying black people are the overwhelming victims of black murder is "making excuses for them."

    - - - Updated - - -

You just posted another lie. Where did I say they weren't leaders?

You are clearly too immature to debate this with.

I don't think you were lying when you said that, but Celeborn did NOT say they weren't leaders, he only said that they weren't the ONLY leaders.

That's correct. And more specifically I said they are not the leaders that the average African American hears the most. The leaders they interact with the most are ministers, preachers, and business men and politicians in their communities. And that is where the problem is going to be solved. It is going to be a grass roots thing. Someone popping up for a sound bite on the evening news every once in awhile is not going to solve the black community's problems.

Honestly I don't know what will address the problems in all our communities that have fallen behind regardless of race. Most of the suggestions I've heard are just partisan politics. Even if every ounce of racism disappeared tomorrow that wouldn't fix the black community. It would help but I don't think the majority of black people think they are where they are because of current racism.

But as I said earlier. To be fair , when most people think of "black leaders" they are thinking nationally not local preachers and such. And so your comments about Fox News viewers was just as unfair as Whaler's.

I mean honestly if someone said "Catholic leaders said ____________________" you would quite naturally assume it came from the Vatican, not some local priest...

as for what will fix communities, black communities in particular, that is a tough row to hoe, I mean the rap culture is so entrenched now that it is going to be hard to overcome it. And in my mind anyway, rap and that whole culture is the worst thing to ever happen to black people, worse than slavery even IMHO because the rap culture has blacks enslaving themselves.

Very powerful. In fact he did a very powerful one two night in a row- Monday and Tuesday.

I was very impressed. I like him a lot (though he's not PERFECT, liberals:)), but he is overall, RIGHT ON.

He is common sense. And I'm pretty darn sure he votes Repub (though I wouldn't bet 10 paychecks on it)
but he is still very fair.

If every commentator was like him, this country would be incomparably better off, IMO.

Whenever Billo the Bigot is "very powerful", he might consider changing his brand of undarm deodorant!

The is the kind of stupid comment that gets people laughed at. I don't always agree wit Bill, but I always come away thinking he's smart, thoughtful , and has a genuine concern for America.

I think he has a genuine concern for America.

As to how smart he is I have my doubts about that.

oh don't get me wrong, I think he sometimes says dumb things, but who among us doesn't. That doesn't make a person dumb though.

I don't think he's a partisan hateful racist who tells lies though.

Seems to be beside the point and an effort to derail the conversation though, wouldn't you agree?

    I don't think he's hateful at all.

    And certainly not a racist.

But he is a blowhard who does not know as much as he thinks he does.

Nothing will work; we will just waste more money on these misfits. This is all to deprive races with potential of opportunities to succeed without being crippled by self-destructive sacrifice. The ruling class gets all its wealth by humiliating people with ability. Caring at all about the unfit races is like telling a coach to completely ignore his team and spend all his time trying to improve the skills of the students he had to cut in tryouts. What the Conservative con men propose is that the coach should use different methods in doing that.

OK, I was making fun of Bill O'Reilly!!!!

It's fun and easy. The man is a buffoon, a blowhard, and a bigot. He talks down to ignoramuses.

His "powerful commentary" was right out of the script of Archie Bunker circa 1971.

Fox Noise has been very accurately described as right wing talk radio with pictures. And Billo the Clown proves it routinely.

I often wonder what planet Liberals are on. O'Reilly is right on in everything he said there. Liberals are only fooling themselves if they can't see it. No, I take it back, they are blind

Look what Jessie Jackson said when Obama said some of the same thing Bill O'Reilly said.

JESSE JACKSON SAYS HE WANTS TO CUT OBAMA'S 'NUTS OUT'
By CHARLES HURT, D.C. Bureau Chief
    Last Updated: 1:31 PM, November 14, 2008
    Posted: 6:35 PM, July 9, 2008

WASHINGTON - In a vulgar tirade caught on tape by Fox News, the Rev. Jesse Jackson said he wanted to "cut his [Barack Obama's] nuts out" and he accused the fellow Chicagoan of "talking down to black folks" by giving moral lectures to African-Americans, source said Jackson's shocking quotes were picked up by a hot mic before an interview on health care in Fox's Chicago studio last Sunday

Fox planned to air the recording on Bill O'Reilly's "The Factor" show.

In an effort to blunt the controversy, Jackson issued an apology.

"For any harm or hurt that this hot mic conversation may have caused, I apologize," Jackson said in a statement.

Jackson said he couldn't recall everything he'd said in the studio but couched the remarks as part of a discussion about Obama speaking to black churchgoers.

In such settings, Obama has urged greater emphasis on fatherhood, advised parents to choose reading books over playing video games and most recently told young students to stick with school and forget about a career as a rap star or professional basketball player.

What is clear from this episode is that the liberals couldn't handle the truth yesterday, they can't handle it today, and you can bet your ass that they won't be handling it tomorrow either. Or next year. Or even 5 years from now.

Trayvon was not only a punk, but he was typical of so many young black men. He was a racist. He was stupid. And he aspired to all things gangsta. That's the result of the idiot victim culture that so much of the black community embraces. Its a national disgrace.

Trayvon, the stupid punk jackass, caused his early demise.
