This is annoying because I'm a university graduate who can significantly contribute to society, who's trying to gain residency in the United States. It's irritating that I have to jump through fairly arduous hurdles while these guys get appeal after appeal after appeal.

At the same time, you can't arbitrarily take away their right to appeal. If you have a problem with appeals generally then fine, get rid of them - but selectively choosing who gets them runs contrary to your justice system and constitution.

Of course many who served in the Red Army, basically almost every able-bodied man, and many females, came to America, often through Israel.

Around 50,000 came right after WW2, and another 250,000 some years later. Unlike the Germans, the US gov did not attempt to track any of their WW2 service records. A good number of them were Jews, who both led the NKVD (old KGB) and were heavily staffed by them.
