Should women have the right to walk around topless?

I've been to a few topless beaches in Europe. At first I was pretty distracted but after a while it was no big deal; it was no different than if they were wearing bikinis. In the end it's a cultural thing and if some women decide to go topless they should take those cultural reactions into account, even if it is technically legal.

 

A man wouldn't treat a woman with such disrespect, so please quit claiming to be something you are not, you're nothing more than an arrogant bully.

 

Actually, the difference is that our contributions to the world and the human race in general are 180 degrees from theirs. Which also makes us superior to the rest of the more "sexually liberated" countries.

 

Though I don't necessarily disagree with the first half of your statement, I don't see what that has to do with boobs. You go to Europe and see them on television--it's no big deal. If it neither picks my pocket or breaks my leg... and boobs do neither. In fact, I rather like boobs.

As long as men can, yeah women should be able to as well. I bet all the initial oogling by lusty men (or gay women) would subside fast, they'd be bored in a few days, it might take some a few weeks but they'd be bored. And then noone would care. If some people are excited about womens' boobs, they'd be excited whether they're covered or not. They're either horny or not. Noone gets all flustered when men are topless. So it'll be the same with topless women.

Humans need sunlight. Women should be able to get sun on their body just as much as men. If someone arrived here on Earth from another planet, they would think we are crazy. Women wear little nipple covers, how silly. Everyone can see the shape of their boobs, and even part of their skin, but somehow we can't handle if their nipples are showing? Sigh.

 

Didn't get to vote but, I say no. There are some nasty looking things calling themselves females these days, and I'd rather not have to look at their......junk.

 

No woman should be forced to do something a man is not....and though there are many breasts I do not find attractive, I am sure looking at a fat slob at the beach is unpleasant for women as well, hell it kinda makes me sick too. Point is, you can look away as needed rather than complain and feign morality.

As for the whole "Guys can't control themselves" BS.....any man unable to do so is rather pathetic, and should move to the ME for some Burka action.

 

Yeah it should be fine, blokes do it, women should be able to do it. However this might be one of those things where technically the breasts on a female are a erogenous zone, and thus societal norm would be no. But to be fair, walking around nude should be fine technically, but depends on how easily offended you are.

 

It's a 14th Amendment issue, actually. The state can show no rational basis to require women to cover up while allowing men not to. If and when an on point case ever hits SCOTUS, it'll be a slam dunk. Top-free freedom is only a matter of time.

I saw this twice when I lived there....woop de freakin' do. No one seemed to actually care, and one was applauded.

 

How in the world can a body part, whose only purpose is to feed infants, be called "junk"? They are breasts! That's it. They are not vulvas or vaginas. They are not penises or testicals. They are the same as the male breast but with milk ducts and more fat. Seriously, show people hacked up and bloody on TV (looking at you CSI and the like) and hardly anyone says a word. Show a breast and everyone is thrown into a tizzy. I cannot believe we live in such a misogynistic and backwards country. Sometimes I feel like I'm living in a theocracy or something.

 

Depends on who gets the biggest check though. Freedom is only for those that can afford top dollar.

 

Well, it's not just the "junk" either. It's the problem of revealing the rest of the top half of an obese, nasty looking female creature that you can't tell the belly from the other "junk" from. I mean, who wants to see topless Walmart shoppers? I don't .

 

True, but the same goes for the guys too. Some of them have bigger breasts than my wife and my wife doesn't have small breasts!

There's female to male transsexuals who are becoming pregnant. They may not be biologically pure men, but it's as close as we can get to male pregnancy at this point in time.

 

No.......just no. And in fact it should go the other way. Fat ugly people should not be allowed to wear tight skimpy clothing period. I've been to enough festivals to know that the vast majority of people should not be seen naked or wearing spandex. Oh God.........mmmph...... I just threw up in my mouth thinking about them.

 

Basing this issue on physical preference is akin to discrimination, and shows a lack of mature thought as well as a certain arrogance. It is a relatively simple thing to look the other way when confronted with something you find unattractive, just as we men often look away when the opposite occurs to show respect to our chosen female partners. Expecting others to bow to the weaknesses we feel at the cost of freedom is not the way a free society functions.

Having a certain affinity for the female breast, I have no problem whatsoever seeing them in public and am perfectly capable of ignoring both the best and worst examples of this aspect of the female form. Likely, many of the individuals expressing disgust have paid to view the same in a private setting...and go shirtless at the beach.

 

Liberty is the freedom to choose, not be lorded over.............if it offends you, burn your eyes out or look away. Granted some people should not go naked in public (I've worked many Harley Rallies oooooooooooh ugh) but if it doesn't bother them.....what the hell???????

Women have the right to show their ankles. Everything else needs to be locked down tight.

That said, modest dress is usually used as a distraction from what's really important, which is modest sexual conduct. The state and the church and society at large need to keep women from being whores. Women are chattels and should legally be recognized as such. Like the Romans, we should number them, not name them.

Aryan women need to have as many children as possible in happy marriages at a young age for the future of the Reich.

I think that you didn't understand my comment. Because what I was defending was the right to going as you want, naked included.

 

Personally, i like breasts.. especially pretty ones. Just like a pretty face, or legs, or a muscular male physique, attractive people are nice to look at. The argument to me is overexposure ruining the mystique... Kind of like gynecologists still getting visually aroused once he gets home & looks at his woman.
