I am sure some of the RW crowd will call him a leftist now. When he actually is trying to save the conservative movement from the grasp of an extreme element. It is getting to be an old, tired tune that you Baggers play...

Yeah, I love the way he says, "all you stupid conservatives, get out of my party". Of course! The way to win elections is to kick people out of the party! Then, we can have two liberal parties, one established one, and the other trying to build a new, liberal base! Brilliant! The Republicans will surely win then, and the nation will have such a clear choice!

He's also mad that Republicans didn't vote for gun control. He really doesn't like it when conservatives do things his regular gang of liberal journalist buddies oppose.

He's not saying "get out of the party", he's saying "get real"

This is the problem with people like Scarborough. They change their beliefs/principles to win. Principles are principles. Irrelevent if you win an election.

Denying women and LGBT their rights isn't "principle". Preventing regular people from having decent health care is not "principle". Allowing guns in the hands of hate filled morons (if the shoe fits...) is not "principle.," it's not even an opinion. It is simple bigotry and hate.

Earth to Scarborough - Republicans don't turn out to vote for MSNBC approved Republicans. Neither does anyone else.

Why do you think Obamacare will improve healthcare? Is there any socialized medicine country that gets recovery rates like we do?

Why can't a normal person own a gun? Many do. If you remove Democrat Districts from the statistics, we are far safer then any European country. Why don't you just tackle your murder problem within your own cities?

What rights to the LGBT people need? Was it bigotry and hate last year that had Obama believing in the 8000 year old definition of marriage? Clinton when he signed DOMA?

Does anybody consider his a conservative?

Remember that time when MSNBC edited the tape from a Mitt Romney rally (they sure love editing things over there!) and made it appear as if though the crowd were chanting the wrong name? They aired it, and Scarborough sat in front of the camera, covering his face and cringing as if though he were embarassed by what they were doing, regardless of the fact that we all later learned that he was partly responsible for the edit!

Judging by the replies in this thread...you are correct.

Apparently he is nothing but a RINO...just like me.

    I hope so!

Folks that constantly have their frillies in a bunch as they bleat about some nebulous force they label "leftists" or "liberals" are never able to articulate an actual identity for their bête noire.

This Scarborough fellow can fill the bill.

Whenever they commence their habitual vague maundering, specificity can be achieved by automatically supplying "Scarborough!"

Well, Scarborough had one thing right. Continuously raising the same issue, when you KNOW you are going to lose, is pointless. A repeal of Obamacare would require some power to change hands first, and that means winning some elections. Unless they could sneak a repeal into a big ass bill that no one will read. A "we have to pass it to find out what's in it" kind of thing. Turnabout is fair play.

It was not so bigotry when DOMA was passed or when Obama had not "evolved" on LGBT, it was sadly political expedience and a lack of backbone. Presidents are given only so much political capital and with a broad agenda only some issues can be attacked at once. Obama chose health care, Clinton the economy. An 8000 year old definition? That's guiding the lilly there. Perhaps a "Western Civilization" definition of marriage. There are other civilizations. Obamacare will indeed improve health care and cost, and yes many European, South American and Asian nations have equal or better recovery rates than ours, depending on what issues are counted and how. Insomuch as we are the last modern nation to install universal health care I find it odd that the many GOP ideas that are included in Obamacare would have you cheering it on, but no, not when a black president is in charge. This has to be the most hypocritical party in the history of politics and the most gullible of "constituents", a loose definition as the leaders of the GOP could care less about you or your family.

Incorrect. Every socialized healthcare nation has poorer recovery results then our without a single exception. (Ok Australia and Colon cancer is our match that is it) if our nation equals their oversight of their small countries health care it will mean 100,000s of extra deaths per year in a nation our size. Our care is more expensive because we get more, and because of an AMA caused doctor shortage + govt paperwork and involvement. But there is no place in the world you are more likely to walk out of the hospital. In Canada you are lucky if you can get in. Dying while waiting for treatment leads to savings though. Hooray for socialism. Privatization is on the rise in many of these places.

Clinton was against gay marriage I think he is a liar too, and Obama will say whatever it takes for power too. They are both populists, but don't go changing history.

Hope you can wait, apparently price fixing causes shortages and longer wait times. Who knew?

That is a weird thing to say when confronted with data. Here is some more, throw out another talking point you were told to repeat through the use of government propaganda:

    survival.GIF

but your post is why there is no talking to leftists. Confronted with logic, or data or facts sends you into a tirade of silly talking points, and unearned indignation. Why don't you argue the facts, the data, or even the logic behind cost fixing, and show me how it should lead to better results instead? Why when you get into any sort of specifics past "I think healthcare should be for everyone", and look at how things work do liberals fire off the insults?

Even when you spend more in these places, you have less results:

Republicans are not conservative #1 (can we stop that myth once and for all?), and they don't need to win any elections. Their sister party which they obviously support by throwing elections with unelectable supremacist morons as candidates, is doing better for their masters the rich/elites, than republicans have been able to do in the past 40 years.

The best way to overthrow a people is to give them everything they think they need, then use it against them. Worked for Hitler.

Is he a conservative or isn't he? Blaming conservatives for continued GOP election losses show's he's changing his tune. All I need to know about this RINO is that he called Arizona's anti-illegal law un-American and compared it to Nazis asking for papers. He's willing to sell out (if he ever sold in) to win.

Bravo. Very constructive. Feel better now?

Seems to me that agreeing with Democrats is the road to Republican extinction.
