There better NOT be any action. If there is Obama should be impeached. It's not our fight, the United Nations of the Useless needs to take the lead NOT the U.S.

LOL weren't you the ones whining that Obama is weak and won't do anything? Now that he has once again proven you people wrong you think he can be impeached for using his lawful power for limited strikes?

It's true Obama is weak, but I never advocated doing anything in Syria but BUTT OUT. You're very confused.

The Obama administration is an quite a quandry. If the P.O.T.U.S. does nothing than our adversaries around the world will see us as weak and if he gets involved that the country will be seen as the great solver of international problems. The United states should take a clever role and work with its allies to assist the rebels in the war aganist Asad. American aircraft carriers should allow arab fighter planes from the Gulf states to use therre decks and bomb key sites that might turn the war around for the rebels. that's my take on what should occur.

See what? I voted for Howard Phillips/Herb Titus in 2000 and Michael Peroutka/Chuck Baldwin in 2004.

Is this some sort of Comedy routine?

This military action against Syria will cause a few things. It will drop Obama's popularity, means rising popularity for the next presidential candidatie, and it will organize the Syrian people behind new (by regime change) politician, exactly what happened to Afghanistan and Iraq. Next, Syria will be joined to the Arab League (because this strike is imperialistic in nature) And at the same time it will cause the organisation of the US people as well (anger/emotion leads to resistance, and that to organisation)
In Syria you will see euphorism (cheering crowds), in the US more anger (mass demonstrations, angry crowds)
Once again the emotion card is used.

Quit trying to turn this around to Liberals... you should have thought this way pre-Afganistan and pre-Iraq.... your memories of Vietnam seem very short, but not no, the GOP wanted to invade two countries, recycling US tax money into the arms of the arms industry... no complaints then from the GOP... but now is apparently different.

I really can't see Obama initiating any thing like that. He is too big of a puss.

    Bwahahahahahahah!!!

The Nobel Peace Prize Winner and anti-war candidate is about to start his SECOND war. Hey, at least this time we should be grateful he's not taking down an ally!

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

LOL... a subject change. Hey, why not go back to World War II? Oops, never mind, I just answered my own question.

But hey, you're on record as saying it'll be Republicans' fault if Obama starts yet another war. I say he should take out Holland next.

Obama's on the way out,his popularity is not as important as the lives of countless thousands that live under Asad's tyranny. The American people must understand the role that the United States plays in the world. The British P.M. Harold Macmilian once compared America to Rome and like Rome sometimes the United States has to involve itself in international affairs.

ah the joys of being slaves to Israel - if it's not overstaying in Iraq, then it's Afghanistan, or Libya, Iran, and now, Syria !

America's role in the Syrian civil conflict is to hammer at the military capabilities of Asad so that rebel fighters might be able to push back aganist there corrupt goverment. The French monarchy supplied the continental army with both provisions and supplies during our revolution aganist England and the Soviet Union supported the correct faction during the Spanish war in the 30s. The Syrian populace is engaged in a struggle aganist there despot and a planned strike by our armed forces may just be what's needed to bost the morale of the people.

I really hope we don't get involved anywhere in the middle east...they are simply not worth the effort. However, should Obama decide to do so a few days of strategic cruise missile strikes would be the best bet.

First missile should be used to send Assad to Allah.

Obama.looks weak to the rest of the world.

He will be push into military action by others against his will.

Ironically doing nothing in Syria is the right policy that I endorse.

Why should we prefer the rebels to Assad?

They are both Muslim wackos either way.

Keeping it simple -- so simple that your 90-year-old grandma would understand it:

    1. Conservative President Assad of Syria hates the Muslim Brotherhood.

    2. Liberal President Obama of America loves the Muslim Brotherhood.

    3. Most of the Syrian people love the Muslim Brotherhood and are trying to overthrow President Assad and install a Muslim Brotherhood government in Syria. These pro-Musim Brotherhood Islamic terrorists are called "rebels."

    4. President Obama wants to help the terrorist rebels overthow conservative President Assad.

(The situation in Egypt is just the opposite)

Actually, the complaint was that Obama should not have painted himself into a corner. Now, he's soon to be covered in more third world blood.

This sort of thing bothers the Left, if Republicans are in power.

Translation: I am now pro-war. Just don't ask me how I felt about Bush's war, as my hilarious hypocrisy will be revealed.

Watching liberals beating their plowshares into swords and pruning hooks into spears........it is wonderful to see them descended from Mt. Olympus

and rooting around in the real third world muck.

Translation: Whew! This makes two posts I've gotten through and haven't yet had to show my hypocrisy. I just hope no one asks me if I'll be enlisting to fight in my messiah's next war, as I already chickened out on the first one.
