Russian leader seems to be using this to his advantage. I believe the former KGB Putin outclasses Obama in this kind of situation. To use a football analogy America's team has the best players. The other guys have a much better coach. Putin calls Kerry a liar for his statement regarding the make up of the rebels.

It is strange for a person like myself who can remember the duck and cover drills in school to supposedly protect us from MAD with the Russians. Now I seem to find Putin more believable than my own government. How the times have changed.

Also the NSA situation even has Brazil mad at us. They are already aligned with Russia, China, and India. We are driving them further into their arms.

Not so sure about that Russia is starting to look like the David to our Golaith. Everyone loves the underdog well except the topdog.

Maybe the Secret Service will kidnap Snowden? Obama will announce that the Universe drew that line? Who's to say, but for some reason I doubt Putin will be shaking in his boots...

Look, I'm against bombing Syria but one half assed countries leader can't go around publicly calling the leader of the most powerful nation in the world a "liar" without repercussions. Even if it's true.

I'm thinking this will cost Russia in the range of 5-10 billion. Maybe much more...

Oh, ALL of us will certainly be paying for "this", if Obama's bizarre insistence on military action in Syria's civil war continues.

But rather than anybody having to pay an enormous price in money, and perhaps in blood, too, why the hell can't we just have the full, unvarnished TRUTH about what actually happened in Syria with the Sarin gas? There are stories circulating that it was actually an accidental release, caused by the Syrian rebels. The prevailing Obama/Kerry story seems to be that they have "satellite images" and intercepted phone calls indicating that Asad ordered his military to do this thing. WHAT IS THE TRUTH, AND HOW IN HELL CAN WE EVER FIGURE OUT WHAT THE TRUTH IS WITHOUT PROOF?!

Are we all so anxious to plunge ourselves into another Islamo-pisspot's civil war that we just cavalierly breeze past the point where we demand to know the TRUTH first, backed up by PROOF?

Then, after we get the TRUTH, I want somebody to explain to the American people exactly why it is OUR task to inject ourselves into a Syrian civil war where there are no American interests, property, allies, friends, or reason to commit acts of war! Would it be too much to expect that President Warlord could kindly explain that to us war-weary, taxpayer peons...?

5-10 billion empty threats to be paid by the empty suit? Putin has been embarrassing Obama all year, calling Kerry a liar is hardly going to shift the needle...

No match for the US military on their own. They would have little trouble with the other south American countries.
Also hosts mini-summit for BRICS before the G-20.

It's significant that America's strident right backs a Russian dictator against their own President, whose manifesto is interchangeable with Reagan's

It's equally significant that you seem unaware of how unhappy the left seems to be with Obama's Syria plans.
Nobody is backing Putin, per se, so you can take that road apple and file it away.
