In the Defense of Swedish Neutrality

    This is about WW2. The expansionist phase of the British and French empires was long past. These two countries had a reputation for being upright members of the international community - League of Nations and whatnot.
    Divide and conquer. Two countries standing alone have a much lower chance than two countries together.

    With what Sweden did for the Germans, perhaps not.

    It's world war two, not europe war two...

    The british and french empires expanded a mere 20 years earlier, after the ww1. Long past eh?

    But one country staying out of it appeared to have even higher chances.

    Well, it's not like the norwegians rallied with the allies to fight the germans. They didn't really have a choice. I don't get it at all: They wanted to be neutral but couldn't, we wanted to and succeeded, so why isn't anyone complaining about the norwegian cowardice? Being invaded isn't courageous.
