Agree, and they are asking for exemption from Obamacare, they want to keep what they have. They will get the exemption I'm sure in about a year, just like they won't lose a dime in this shut down. They get paid twice a month, they already had a payday at the end of September, which was this past Monday morning, before the shutdown. Later,. they will be paid in full for these days they had to suffer..

Nobody has lost their job sparky, calm down. They are furloughed, which means when someone in the house or the senate blinks, they'll be back to work and get back pay (even though they shouldn't because they haven't been "working"). And let's be clear, not all government workers are furloughed, only those that work for offices under appropriated funds, revolving fund (i.e. self-sustained) offices are still fully up and running. You should be dancing in the aisles the big evil military machine is getting cut like that, I mean, all we've heard from the leftards is about cutting defense....
The shutdown is good only in that we all know why and who caused it, which means it won't look for obama and the dumbocrats for doing it (which is the good thing). Of course it was obama and reid who did it. Bring on the leftard screeching points....

Of the 2.1 million federal employees this is .6% of the total population. That is just over half of one percent of the total population of the U.S. Thirty percent of that number classified as NON essential are whining so loud that it is all we hear and see on the media. Never mind that 47 million Americans are out of work. That is 12% of the population. How about spending more time whining for the 12% of the population than half of one percent of the population!
Every federal and state worker will be get back pay when the "shutdown" is over. After every government shutdown, congress instantly rams through a bill authorizing all of them back pay, including any overtime pay they were due. If effect, all these "laid off" government workers are on a paid vacation.
You'll never hear a liberal talk about that. And in the new Obamacare world, the term "Double Twenty" will replace full time work.
