As are about a MILLION Federal employees, whom I see no need to put back on the public teat.

Stupid people tend to get lost. Therefore they should stay in their houses instead of going to national parks where we have to pay a lot of people to find them.

The lost woman is a Repub voter from Idaho. Idaho voted for Romney. So Romney should spend a few bucks and go rescue her. She wanted a smaller government and now she has one.

Is it? Because letting this stand is a bad precedent for the future, even if you don't support the Affordable care act, there is always going to be the next topic that the radicals among the Republicans are going to shut the government down for.

What will the topic be next time? Perhaps women's access to birth control? Really, that's not out of the blue, I saw tweets from the Senators on cspan, two nights ago, as the House and Senate were voting back and forth before the midnight deadline, that, at one point, they pointed out that there was finally not a provision to limit women's access to birth control.

You know, if these crazy demands weren't in the early back-and-forth of that evening there would have been at least a whole other hour to hash things out.

I think this is all because we went to war in the middle east a decade ago. The extremists on the right took a lesson from all the wrong people (the terrorists) in the middle east and have been growing more radical with each passing year. Sometimes it's good that Americans don't know more about the world outside the USA because look what happens. With that in mind, I shudder to think what would happen if the USA ever went to war in Africa.

 

If Obama and the Dems cave now, next year the Tea Party will demand the end to Medicaid, or the EPA, or FEMA, or the Department of Education....or they will shut down the govt.
