The precedence has already been set for 'furloughed' federal employees to be PAID IN FULL for not working during the shut down. You think they don't do much routinely, how do you feel about paying them for staying home?

IT was another fine day in az, too... not too hot, sunny, great weather. I had a hawaiian beer, & did not miss the doe or dea having to cut back. They've always gotten paid before, & i'm sure they will now, too. So instead of them sitting in some cubicle doing nothing & getting paid, they can stay home & do nothing & get paid. 16% of the population works for the federal govt!!! We can't afford to support that many people, just on the federal tit! Add the state & locals, & we are being screwed by bureaucracy. It's bad enough with criminals & the destructive elements of society, we also have to PAY for this elite ruling class to waste our labors. Our govt, in it's infinite wisdom, feels they can better use our money than we can. Yeah. Should I go against my judgement? I'm a pretty successful person. So far, most of the ideas I've lived by have worked out just like people told me they would... The more broader issue is these families and programs being dependent on "Government funding" anyway. I find it deplorable that we've only exercised 3% of our resources into education, I find it deplorable that millions of families are impoverished while Washington gets big fat checks.

Where is the big stock market crash? Remember when we went into sequestration? We were supposed to go into total melt down then too. What really happened is we actually started seeing some slight improvement in the economy at that point. How about a little common sense cutting of spending for a change?
