I'm not going to encourage people to seek mutilation as a cure for a disorder - just like I wouldn't encourage a woman with anorexia to starve herself in order to 'feel better' about her weight

This should be a last resort for the most severe of cases. Call it mutilation or whatever, if it's determined the best available way to make someone well adjusted, that's all there really is on the subject... other than to discuss what it means to be "well adjusted". Anorexia is a severe and life-threatening state, it's almost impossible to imagine any scenario where encouraging it as a matter of making the person happy can be called "well adjusted". The idea of transexuals may disturb you, but they can live as long a life as anybody else, and if it makes them the most well adjusted, happy and productive, there's not much else to say on the topic.

Wow thank you for Proving that the Convent of the Singing Nuns "St Michaels' was listed as a hate group (which is a attack on the SINGING NUNS as it is THEIR CONVENT wrongly being accused of Hate crimes). And thank you for posting all the SPLC links (even though it doesn't look like you actually bothered to read them).

And I 'do' understand that in falsely listing the Singing Nun's convent St Michaels as a hate group simply for practicing their religious beliefs is a attack on free speech, and a well known 'intimidation' tactic practiced by the SPLC.

It's not my fault that you 'refuse' to understand that.

BTW ... "So you're allowed to say things to colossally stupid that I'm liable to get an aneurysm from reading your post, but when I state the obvious, I get in trouble. Where's the Justice?"

Thank you for yet again, describing 'your self' as 'colossally stupid'.

You know what? If the singing nuns are part of a hate group, then I guess that makes them part of a hate group. This claim is fundamentally different from the claim that the SPLC was calling the singing nuns a hate group, but I guess you're not about to understand that. Once again, though, you keep on claiming that the SPLC falsely accuses these people, then completely refuse to actually provide any argumentation to the point. So basically, at this point, its your word that Mount St. Michael's is not an anti-semitic hate group against the SPLC's fairly clear explanation. Give me one reason why I should trust you over them. Or give me some evidence that the SPLC's classification as a hate group is invalid. And give me a (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) definition for the term! How do you define hate group? Can you give me an example of a hate group?

No, it is not - neither the SPLC nor any other organization is practicing censorship. It may be slander, but it is not an attack on free speech. But if you think it's slander, it's up to you to prove it. Certainly none of those involved in any of those groups have attempted to take it to court.

You have personally attacked me again, and again and again. Now you whine and say that the SPLC isn't practicing censorship, even though they have no actual proof that the Singing Nuns are in fact a 'hate group'...and in fact added them anyway.

Again you failed to prove your case. And again the evidence that you tried 'unsuccessfully' to refute proves it.

"So you're allowed to say things to colossally stupid ......"

Wow calling the evidence I posted in my posts proving you wrong time and time again "to (I bet you actually meant 'too') colossally stupid"....

Again with your 'pathetic' personal attacks in your 'signature' (as well as your pathetic posts) you have just described yourself. But 'do' keep 'posting', it 'amuses' me.

Le sigh. The SPLC never made the claim that the Singing Nuns specifically are a hate group; rather, it claims that the covenant to which they belong (Mount St. Michael) is a hate group.

    " ST. MICHAEL'S PARISH/MOUNT ST. MICHAEL
    Spokane, Wash.
Formed in 1978 when radical traditionalist Francis Schuckardt bought a Tudor-Gothic building on a bluff overlooking northern Spokane, Wash., St. Michael's Parish has long been a center of extreme-right Catholic activities. Schuckardt, who argued that the liberalizing Vatican II church reforms were part of a demonic conspiracy to destroy the church and inaugurate an atheistic world order, lost control of the group in 1984 during a major scandal: Four young male acolytes accused him of sexual assault right around the same time that a newspaper published an exposé that detailed abusive cruelty inside the compound, including severe beatings of children and one case where a child was fed rotten carrots and then made to eat her own vomit. Schuckardt's successor is Mark Pivarunas, who was consecrated a "bishop" in defiance of the Vatican by renegade Mexican Archbishop Moises Carmona Rivera. Under Pivarunas, St. Michael's Parish has remained an anti-Semitic organization, selling books like John Vennari's The Permanent Instruction of the Alta Vendita, which details a "Judeo-Masonic" conspiracy to destroy the church. On the group's Web site are Pivarunas writings that condemn Vatican II for "promot[ing] the work of the anti-Christ" and for its efforts to reach out to Jews and Muslims even though, he argues, those religions have "persistently attacked the Catholic Church throughout history." At a St. Michael's conference last October, Australian John Lane gave a talk earnestly recounting how he had learned "about the Protocols of Zion [a book alleging a Jewish plot to take over the world], I mean, the whole story." Lane also spoke reverently of meeting Hutton Gibson, the actor Mel Gibson's father and a hard-line anti-Semite. Pivarunas chimed in with a condemnation of Pope John Paul II's outreach to Jews, which included a visit to a German synagogue. Such attitudes aren't new at St. Michael's. In the mid-1990s, when the religious scholar Michael Cuneo visited, his official guide told him: "We know that Freemasons and Jewish leaders have wanted for centuries to bring on a one-world government, and we know that the Church was the only thing really standing in their way." St. Michael's, which is part of the larger Congregation of Mary Immaculate Queen, has 800 lay adherents, a cloistered residence for nuns, a church, and an academy for students from kindergarten through high school."

Now, if you would care to claim that the SPLC is wrong in this assertion, then by all means, I welcome you to back your claim up. But just asserting it is not enough. Given that you still haven't defined "hate group", I don't see on what grounds you could claim this.

You know, my signature doesn't apply to most posts. It's a general statement about how, say, someone could say something like "The earth is flat", then if I respond with "Jesus christ, you're a complete (*)(*)(*)(*)ing idiot" then I get a warning, which is kind of ridiculous. But in your case... Yeah. Definitely gonna apply. Your posts are dumb. You have absolutely zero understanding of what it takes to hold a rational debate.

I never claimed that the CFA or the CFS are hate groups. You have made this claim several times, and I have said the same thing each time: I do not consider those hate groups and I never claimed they were. Stop lying about what I have said.

Because the Family Research Council is a hate group by any rational definition of the word, and Exodus International, while not a hate group per se, is one of the nastiest anti-gay organizations out there, and anyone who sees an organization giving money to those people is entirely justified in their decision to not support their actions. It's like wondering why people complain about a group that donates to the KKK because they also donated to the Girl Scouts.

so, by comparing them to the KKK, you are saying the FRC lynches homosexuals, burn terroristic threats in their yards, and blocks gays from voting in elections?

because like what the FRC preaches or not... they do NONE OF THE ABOVE.

    Hate-group not found.

Once again you fail. The Singing Nuns Convent (which means the SINGING NUNS their selves) was added to the SPLC hate group ...The evidence which you have been unsuccessful in refuting in all your LIES and PERSONAL ATTACKS against me prove you to be 'wrong'.

    http://www.splcenter.org/get-informed/news/us-hate-groups-top-1000

    http://www.splcenter.org/search/apachesolr_search/individual hate reports

    http://www.splcenter.org/search/apachesolr_search/individual domestic terrorist

As a American (who happens to be Jewish) I have had several dealings with this convent through the interfaith outreach (Interfaith meaning all faiths working together). And NEVER were they the way the SPLC wrongly described them. But then the SPLC did LIE about the grandmother too.

    http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/201...ter-puts-singing-nuns-on-its-hate-groups-map/

So sorry I couldn't find a 'main stream link', but the fact that neither the convent ...or the nuns are in fact ANTI SEMITES doesn't fit in with the Democrat/Liberal 'agenda'.

FYI you're the one cursing, and posting personal attacks about me in your posts. And now you call my posts 'dumb' because you are unable to refute the evidence I am posting proving you wrong. Then you 'whine' because 'you' got a 'warning' for lying about me and posting personal attacks about me, and repeating the same behavior that got you into trouble over and over and over and over again.

I do have to thank you though; because your pathetic attacks prove that to you and to some Liberals "Debate means total capitulation of every one else ... in spite of the evidence to the contrary."

"So you're allowed to say things so colossally stupid ..." "Your posts are dumb.." "I'm liable to get a aneurysm from reading your post..." "you're a complete (*)(*)(*)(*)ing idiot"

Yes you are describing 'yourself' to a 'T'.

He also espoused the false evidence of the SPLC that the convent sold Anti Semite Propaganda. Never mind that the SPLC is known for falsifying evidence, and deliberately LYING about groups who don't promote Obama's agenda. Of course that small 'fact' eludes liberals.

    http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/201...ter-puts-singing-nuns-on-its-hate-groups-map/

And of course he'll ignore the evidence proving that neither the convent or the singing nuns should be on any 'hate watch' list, only because no left wing media site would cover it.

But this link has nothing in terms of a refutation. The very best it offers is the leader of the church saying that it's not true. Not addressing any of the allegations, just saying that it's not true. That's not a refutation, that's "Nuh-uh!" Your argument would have as much weight if you stuck your fingers in your ears and said "LALALALA I'M NOT LISTENING LALALALALA".

if a claim is so baseless, why should he say anything more than "it's not true"

It's clear, the pro-gay propaganda machine is ready to twist anything they say into a political agenda.... that's why it's best to just say "no comment" or like they said "it's not true"

And somehow I'm left wondering - how the hell did we end up on the topic of the singing nuns? A pathetic attempt to discredit the SPLC, ignoring the extensive research and other sources, and disputed by those who still refuse to offer any definition for the term "hate group".

    I have....

if a group is actively hunting down gays and lynching them.... hate group
if a group is terrorizing gays (ie- burning crosses in yards type of thing) .... hate group
if a group is physically preventing or intimidating gays away from polls to vote.... hate group.

Singing nuns do no such thing

simply speaking out and preaching against the gay lifestyle /= hate group

Westburo Baptist Church...,... gay hate group

there... .perfect definitions of what is... and what is NOT, a hate group.

That's not a definition unless you consider those the only criteria that matter, in which case I'd say it's far too narrow and completely ignores groups that attempt to use politics and junk science to malign minorities and restrict their rights. This definition completely ignores, say... The WBC.

But they don't hunt down or lynch gays. They don't terrorize gays (in fact, for the most part, their protests have been at the funerals of heterosexuals). And they don't physically prevent or intimidate gays from voting. In terms of real effect against homosexuals, they are thousands of times less offensive than the Family Research Council - they don't attempt to put up a veneer of legitimacy and put out "scientific" studies detailing lies and bull(*)(*)(*)(*) about homosexuals. But more importantly, they are, according to your definition, not a hate group. And that says it all, doesn't it? It's like having a definition of hate group that doesn't include the KKK - if your definition of "hate group" ignores the Westboro Baptist Church, then it fails on every conceivable level.

Again you 'say' that the evidence is 'false' but 'you' can't prove it.

    http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/201...ter-puts-singing-nuns-on-its-hate-groups-map/

You also tried to deny the singing nuns had been added to the list at all .....

No, I said that it wasn't evidence, it was the owner of the church saying "nuh-uh".

Because they weren't. Their convent was. This is getting really tiresome.

you're trying to split hair to distract from the fact the SPLC falsely added them so they use it as fuel for their agenda. Sounds like they dared to speak out against the agenda, so, in an effort to margainalize them, the SPLC added them to "hate-group" category.

you mean like SPLC trying to margianalize the singing nuns by adding them to a hate group, despite not doing anything except speak against their agenda? sounds like SPLC is a hate group according to your criteria....

they do terrorize them, by saying it's their fault why hetero-soldiers are being killed.

I'd have a 'smart' response but JavisBeason 'nailed' it.

    http://www.politicalforum.com/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=1063177708

Nice of you though to ignore the fact that attacking the Convent is in fact attacking the 'nuns' itself. Nice try ...epic fail.

    "This is getting really tiresome."

Yes you are... getting really 'tiresome'.
