Uhhh! There was no such thing as Roman Catholicism until the schism between the Latin and Greek churches in the eleventh century. Originally there were five major Patriarchates/Bishoprics; Rome, Constantinople, Jerusalem, Antioch and Alexandria. As for Islam, it was considered at its conception by the Christian Church a heresy. Probably an outcome of Arianism. As I said there was no such thing as the Roman Catholic Church until the anathemas were thrown back and forth between a Cardinal and the Patriarch of Constantinople during the eleventh century. The Patriarchs of Jerusalem, Rome, Constantinople (second Rome), Alexandria, and Antioch were all united as one Church in the third century, and there was no such thing as Roman Catholicism. All the people in those lands were Christian except for the Jews, and the Arab Muslims came from Saudi Arabia four centuries later. Uhhh! Saint Constantine moved Rome to the city on the Bosporus called Byzantium in the fourth century, and this is where Rome stood for one thousand years. This great counterfeit religion as you called it, is what Christianized Europe. They were all savages and pagans...remember?
