Have more children and the percentage will go up. Poorer people tend to have more children because of various reasons. Many countries have allowed more immigrants in recent history, usually to get cheaper wage workers.

I use experience. As Iolo stated, polls don't reach certain people. I go farther, and I say they don't reach entire segments of people, at least most of them. My family has participated in almost no polls, if any, ever. Out of all the polls on the thousands of issues for decades, we have never been asked our opinion. I know entire communities, whether poor, or rural, who have the same or very similar experience.

And sorry if I stated my opinion on polls as absolute, or led anyone to believe that. I'm just saying there is more to be aware of with polls regarding what segments of society are participating in them, who is doing them with what goals etc. I'm sure some of them are actually useful. But to determine which ones are, imo, is rather difficult, and one needs a good amount of knowledge to pick and choose the polls that can be useful.

 

That is why I feel sorry for you. It should never be your only source to form your opinions.

Good question. Race is important because people make groups because on their race. Other races make it important, which makes it so. important enough to separate from another race to live peacefully in our own country. I find it important for dating too or in other words making attractive, healthy children. But overall its not really that important.

People with certain features are mixing out because of mass immigration.

Why should I care really at all about a "White Man's Land"? While I happen suffer from a shortage of melanin in my skin, I have less in common with the Finnish man with similar amounts of melanin than I do with the third generation Chinese American down the street.

I am neither offended by my 'whiteness', nor am I particularly proud of it- hell no more than I am 'proud' of my brown eyes.

I only even particullarly think of my 'white identity' when I hear from similar complexion men whining about how bad they have it because they are 'white'.

I'm not going after National Council of La Raza here; too often someone sees something that they don't like about a group and pounces (due to some agenda of their own).

Wow! I do not know how old you are or where you live but the people around me do not group by race, do not live separately and we certainly marry who we love regardless of race. You must live in a rural area. Metropolitan areas have mixed areas.

Some of you posters are very disturbed. The tea party politicians are trying to use hostage tactics because they have not gotten what they want through normal legislative means. It is not about hate but just about stating the facts.

You and Super21 have a very distorted view of the world. Minorities are just minorities. Laws that pass are not done to destroy the country. People disagree all the time. That does not mean that they hate each other.

You have to look at what is happening in real life. Stop listening to propagandists who are just making money off their own rants.

Were the Democrats guilty of hostage taking when, after Gerald Ford vetoed a giant water works bill back in 1970's they began sending the budget through in one giant omnibus package instead of by Department? I agree Bush got a pass from conservatives. The time for all that is over. I give you the Tea Party. Sure, we voted for Romney. We had no choice. A lot of us stayed home. Bush and Romney were both far too liberal. It was Bush's liberal policies that failed us. Too many loans to unqualified buyers; prescription drugs; foreign aid...all liberal policies that hurt us.

What has Obama done in the last year? Hmm, well, he's had a Republican House, so not much. This is called checks and balances. I'm sorry you don't have your benevolent dictator yet. We're still a Constitutional republic.

 

The progressives' reverse racism is every bit as evil. I find liberals to be far more racially divisive.

 

1.) My premiums will go down because they can no longer blast me for a pre-existing condition ( blew my ACL out when I was 18. I am now 39, and they have been gouging the crap out of me for that injury for the past 21 years ). Also, my mothers blue cross / blue sheild premiums are going to drop dramatically.
2.) I am keeping my current work provided health insurance.
3.) I am keeping the same doctor I have had for the last 2 years.
