The last few day were a learning exerience. We learned: Obama is not a leader Obama is a small minded egotist and extremely vindictive Obama has flaunted his power to make the shutdown as painful as possible Obama has no respect for veterans Obama has no respect for the military dead Obama and the democrats are not willing to compromise at all Obama and the democrats want to keep on spending Obama and the democrats dont care that we are almost 17 TRILLION DOLLARS in debt IMO this is a case of Obama and the democrats thinking they have imperial power and are basically tinhon dictators.
Yep, that's it in a nutshell. We also learned Dems don't care how bad the American people get shafted as long as dear leader gets his way I doubt if they even know hes doubled the natl debt in only 5 yrs. Who cares!??
Before Obama was behind the 8 ball.. manufacturing had been leaving the US for over 20 years.. the economy was in free fall from the second quarter of 2001 and the housing bubble was ready to burst. Every president faces his challenges. Behaving like five year old kicking the stairs is NOT the American way. If you thought Obama was a magical messiah.. you were in error.
We also learned that the GOP are nothing more than the obstructionists we all thought they were, and that Obama won't let them extort our nation.
We care., just like the right wingers cared when Bush spent us into oblivion. "The American people" got shafted for 8 straight years with Bush, and the GOP attempted to shaft us once again with outsourcing specialist, PinkSlip Romney. You're right...who cares?
rtwnga Bush's spending pales in comparison to Obama's spending. By the time he is out of office ALMOST ONE HALF of the national debt will be his!!!!
I admit it was bad politically - but whether it's now or in the future, the USA WILL default at some point if it keeps spending the way it is. So while not doing anything now make sit less painful for those alive now, those in the future will still have to bear it. That's why, at some point, someone needs to actually point this out: at some point, the country will be bankrupt if we don't do something, so if the Dems refuse to our budget cut demands and we default, it's simply prematurely doing what would have happened anyway. Might as well try - they are not going to stop spending money by their own volition, they must be forced.
