This thread is about YOUR DEFINITION, the ATHEIST definition of God, not my definition of Shiva. Once we clear this matter up, then I'll answer more of your questions about Shiva, or any other divine entity.

It's the same sort of thing as aliens. There's a lot of sketchy evidence (UFO sightings, supposed abductions, etc), but the only answer I feel is honest is "I don't know if aliens exist". Same with any sort of God.

At the outset the question would seem to be the ultimate paradoxical "gotcha", an unanswerable question, but really it's not because it's purports the false idea that it is incumbent upon atheists to define that which they do not believe exists. It is a false application of onus probandi. Responsibility for defining a God is on the shoulders of those who believe, which they have already done in a variety of ways. So, can the atheist answer the question? Absolutely and quite elegantly, to wit, "I'm not beholden to define that in which YOU believe. You are welcome to present your own definition and I will respond to that specific belief."

 

Atheist's don't claim , observations with physical and electronic instruments indicate that there is no such thing as a god now the burden of proof falls on the theists.

The only argument that holds enough water is that god is not observable because FSM created the universe after drinking heavily .

Pages upon pages of non-answers from atheists, who fear defining God according to atheism. Why? It becomes too obvious. Atheists don't want to define God, because they know, deeply, that their own ignorance becomes exposed immediately. Many pathetic atheists attempt to define God as a "fictional" character, Santa Clause, flying spaghetti monster, darth vader, whatever. Why is God "fictional"? Where are athiests getting their definitions?

It obviously is not TRUE CHRISTIANITY!!! Because Christians do not define God as fictional or unreal or impossible. So there is something amiss here. Why are atheists compelled to define God as impossible nothingness?

It's because atheists KNOW God exists, but, don't want to believe in Him. That's why. And atheists need to do whatever mental acrobatics they can flip and spin about, to dodge this question. It really shows the childish ignorance of the atheist, before God. The Atheist, when confronted by God, wants to stick his or her head in the ground. The atheist wants to define God as "magical unicorn".

That is what atheism WANTS, not what atheism accomplishes. Atheism only accomplishes childish redefinitions of God. Because Atheists so badly, so vainly, do not want Him to exist. They know He exists, but, since they hate God so much, want to redefine Him in a way suitable to their own personal interests and desires.

This is why atheists, like Wolverine, are so childish and want to define God in stupid, ridiculous, childish ways to mock Him.


Imagine redefining your own parents. Your mother is no longer your mother. She is "fictional". She is "impossible". Does this change her existence? No, it only changes the definition.

No matter how much you atheists try to redefine your mother, as an example, it does not change reality and existence. So you atheists are exposed for the foolishness of your religion. This atheist religion is a complete joke.

Look at it this way, God is not necessary to present a reasonably coherent picture of how this universe operates. God is not needed to explain any aspect of it. So that means that God is not necessary in the atheist's perspective on reality.
