Why is Hillary Clinton's popularity sliding?

Because her performance over Benghazi has been horrible. She was sec of state and over saw the conditrions that led to the Benghazi disaster. She would be a disaster for America were she to become president.

the best thing that she can do right now is lay low. Do not discount who her husband is or all of the favors owed and will be called in once the campaign begins in earnest. Right now, I'm sure they are struggling with the decision a to whether or not to involve themselves in the 2014 mid terms or to let it play out on its own, and then re-emerge.

They have absolutely nothing to lose. Depending on how the wind is blowing; if full idiocy and Democrats take back the house, then she declares herself a loyal subject of Obama

If the Dems do not fare well, then they can come out and remind everyone of the wonderful Clinton era and to return to prosperity requires a vote for them

Everything listed is true regarding why her popularity is slipping but one thing was absent; the MSM itself. Remember that these are they guys and gals who enthusiastically threw Hillary over for Barack Obama back in 2008 and wrote terrible things about her and Bill in the process. These are the men and women who went freaking all out for their guy Obama and now no matter how much they may privately admit on the closed to outsiders liberal and leftwing Washington D.C. cocktail circuit that they regret ever having endorsed Barack Obama for anything it still galls them to admit that they were WRONG to have tossed her aside in favor of Obama. It's an ego thing and so that means that they are not quite the cheerleader advocates for Hillary now that they were for Obama back in 2008 . . . and on a subconscious basis readers tend to pick up that sort of thing.

That's mainly because most journalists and pundits in this nation are themselves some variant of leftwinger and so they only report from the leftwing perspective for the most part. When you have about one hundred leftwing leaning journalists for every one conservative journalist the information flow to the nation gets distorted -- and in many cases the truth gets flushed down the toilet.

I remember the 2012 Presidential debates where Romney faced Obama and attacked him, rather than looking to the audience and presenting ideas. I guess this is the new politicking from the right that we'll all have to get used to.

What many many 'average low information voters' do not understand is: There has been an all out on-going civil war in the Dem party for decades. The 'East Coast LIBs and the West coast LIBs are fighting for 'turf' just like the 'gang-bangers' are doing.

You need to look at the messaging and who the Democrats target. The insurance companies will be portrayed as being evil and greedy. The media will propagate that message. The GOP will be portrayed as having done nothing but sit idly by as premiums for all soared through the roof

The answer to it all is single payer (complete govt take-over) and a Democrat vote will give you free medical care vs deciding if you eat, or pay your insurance premium.

Call me a cynic but there is not one unintended consequence to the ACA. The mood is right to hook those who have been fed the entitlement mentality and to put govt so far into our lives that the concept of America will die. We will be working to support the govt and handed by them what they feel we deserve.
