This is not war but a created humanitarian catastrophe instigated by greed and power struggle. They lost a lot and did not foresee what would be the outcome of their acts and the next generation suffered horribly. If Assad wins he has a very daunting task of making reparations at the aftermath.
Just because she lives there does not mean she knows anything, that's a laughable statement. We seem to have plenty of people on here who live in America and know (*)(*)(*)(*) all.
They will! He who lives by the sword will die by the sword. Anyway take care of yourself, and give us as much news as possible. How much ground has Assad gained, and what about the Kurds? How established are they in the northern parts. Also I read in a Turkish paper that Al Nusra is on their border, how much land do they have? A date for the Geneva talks has been decided, do you know who will attend? Some of the rebel groups say they will not and keep on fighting. Will they be able to reach a conclusion even if the fighting is going on? I know Assad will not attend, and that he will send representatives. Will Iran attend? Also are they going to determine boundaries and will they be relative to the amount of land they now have? Just a few questions, but look if you don't know, who will? Anyway stay well.
Obviously journalists who are covering the Geneva talks and members of the rebels and the Assad regime.I thought that was obvious.
Here is an accurate map of situation in Syria. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Syrian_civil_war_detailed_map Red = Syrian Army Green = Jihadis Yellow = Kurds SAA gaining alot of ground around Damascus. I think unless something big happens, the whole Damascus and its surrounding areas will be free of jihadis by mid 2014 Some progress in South East suburbs of Aleppo. Kurds do not go into areas not populated by Kurds. They only take care of their own territories in some parts of Aleppo Province and especially North East near Hassaka. Yes Al Nusra and especially ISIS control towns on Turkey-Syria border. When I say on the border, I mean as close as 50 -100 meters from Turkey. There are black al qaeda flags hanging on Syrian border towns, and they can be easily seen from Turkey. The restaurants and hotels on Turkey side of border are getting so many foreign jihadis staying there that they changed their menus and included some food and drinks popular in Pakistan and Afghanistan! Geneva Talks. Nobody knows what is going on with Geneva. The Islamic Alliance , includes 80% of the Islamist rebels say they will not attend. Islamic State in Iraq and Levant and Jabhat Al Nusra will not be invited and will not attend of course. The so called " Free Syrian Army" are "thinking" about attending. It is hilarious and sad at same time. These guys are nowhere on the battlefield, their groups cannot even stand up to foreign jihadis. FSA attending would be same thing as someone from Panama attending, it would not change anything 95% of terrorists and rebels do not recognize or want to do anything with FSA

Jihadis in Syria accepting food and communication equipment from the United States. Thank you Obama. CIA idiots learned nothing from Afghanistan.
I see Assad is holding on to Latakia, Homs and Damascus which makes a good stretch of land, and the Kurds have their own section. Maybe Erdogan wants the jihadists next to him. Many are probably from Chechnya or Dagestan and they would fit nicely into his delusional new Ottoman caliphate.
Latakia is Alawite Territory. No chance the jihadis come close to there. Homs is becoming the safest province in Syria after Tartous and Latakia. Most amazing and interesting situation is in Hama. That area had a lot of history with Muslim Brotherhood problems in 1980s. People came out to protest in 2011 and 2012 but after a short time said "oh no , we not going through the 1982 scenario over again" Hama has been virually untouched by fighting. Good decision by people there not to start making trouble and choosing peace instead.
a child welcomes Syrian Army in his town - - - Updated - - - $100 billion has been spent by the West and Gulf States to defeat Syrian Army since 2011. Syrian Army still standing and Assad still president. Keep trying!
The third image of that post has to be one of most profound images of the war I've seen and unfortunately a cruel testament to just how unrestrained this war actually is.
I can't believe that Obama wants to support rebels who want to establish Sharia law in Syria. What is wrong with our State Department, is it Saudi Arabia?
I hope you are not suggesting that the brand new t-shirts and caps represent a piece of pro-Assad propaganda.
Oh, Ok. I get it. So instead of that, you want Syrian children to be dressed and equpped like this? ahhh yes, those Syrian opposition fighters are real humanitarians with the children!
Here is what Obama's Freedom looks like in Syria A Church in Ar-Raqqah turned into headquarters for Islamic State in Iraq and Levant (Al Qaeda)
You blame Obama for your troubles in Syria? That is amazing to me. Do you also expect him to solve your problems? - - - Updated - - - Russia and Saudi Arabia seek solutions in Syria. http://www.politicalforum.com/showthread.php?t=334824
Its not Syrian problems. its problem of Wahhabi Saudi invasion of Syria sponsored by middle east and western world 200 Saudis killed in Syria in last week alone. Hope those worthless saudi cockroaches suffered a painful death
Here is a video tribute made by Al Qaeda in Syria honoring some Saudis killed in Syria. According to their own claim, 700 Saudis killed in Syria but for you, nothing is proof. Saudi is a precious little harmless angel
I posted a thread on the Ukraine saying it could end up in another proxy war between the U.S. and Russia. Later on I came across a link to Voltaire.net that said the protesters committing the excesses which provoked the police were Crimean Tatar jihadists from Syria who had come through Turkey. These Tatars are fighting for a greater Turkey and are supported by Erdogan. All this makes me right when I said that the problems in Syria as well as in other places in the Middle East, probably started with Erdogan and Devotoglu's Ottoman policies. The E.U. and U.S. must know this, and they just don't care. . All they care about is containing Russia and they use issues like democracy and human rights to forward their agenda. No wonder Russia feels it is fighting for its life. Thank you for giving us information on what's going on in Syria. Today I read that the U.S. might support some jihadists in Syria who want to impose sharia law. I sense the Saudi hand in this. There are many in Congress though who oppose it. Let's hope it can be stopped. .
