Sorry I don't hate anyone I haven't the time for such wasted effort. Border line insane is raising taxes in a ad economy borderline insane is increasing rules and regulations in a down economy. Criminally insane shutting down the government yelling we will not negotiate and then within two months time capitulating on virtually every demand the opposiiton has made and topping it off by refusing to delay the opening of your program even when you know the web site on which so much depends is likely six months to a year away from being complete.

Obama is probably the most partisan President we have ever had with the least amount of leadership skills ever.

From his speech he continues to jab in a partisan manner. He should have steered clear of his partisanship and moral judgement against his political opponents. But hey, he can’t help himself, he is on his new inequality schtick and those that do not accept his vision of progressive social justice through government redistribution by force are just haters. To bad he is not a President of the people but just a President of social justice progressives:

nothing of it is insane. The Bush tax cuts were completely unnecessary and took off TRILLIONs in revenue, adding to the debt problem. Obama couldn't raise taxes when the economy was in it's lowest moment but now that it's in recovery mode and has been for a while, it's time to increase revenues. The reason for the additional regulations is simple - The private sector ran the economy to the ground, seeking profits by being wreckless and lowering credit standards. I work at a large bank and hate some of the regulations coming down the pipe but i also recognize that the private sector is to blame here. Has the government overregulated as a result of financial crisis? yes, but it's intellectually dishonest to blame Obama and not the banks and comapnies that gave us the crisis...

    .
again, nothing but nonsensical partisan rant here. The precedent has to be set that no party can hold the other party at gun point every damn freaking time we reach deadline to raise debt limit. This is absurd and republicans would've been in uproar if democrats had pulled this off. Not only this, republicans wanted concessions on policies that had nothing to do with the debt, like individual mandate and other things tied to Obamacare.

Obama? A Constitution-hating socialist and autocrat who's also a crass, bald-faced LIAR! I want to see just one of you Obama-lovers be able to dispute that statement! Go ahead! The only condition is that you've got to have something more substantial in your defense of this clown than screaming "RACISTS" at all of us who think that your wonderous President Transparency is the biggest fraud and America-hating jive artist who ever took a crap in the White House!

Wouldn't it be a blessing for everyone if he'd just STAY in Africa after they bury Mandela! They need a new dictator over there now, and that would be one job that he would be perfectly suited for.... :cheerleader:

Yeah, that's what I meant. Fantasy and the occult is where you would look for Limpbaughs, and current events , non fiction or the like would be where Obama's book would be. No connection at all to each other.

LOL, evidently you don't keep up on current events. There are so many fictions in Obama's books, it is embarrassing.

Sure we've heard it all before.

You mean as opposed to the most color conscious liberals that make sure race is the focus of almost every issue and still propose race based legislation?

Yeah exactly, Ted Cruz is an ideologue who wants reality to conform to his will, which it doesn't.

Any logical conservative will tell you to let it die.

Not hard to see that libs are race obsessed seeing racism around every corner. The lib Democrats are still the only party that still propose race based legislation. Not much changes in 200 years.

Pretty much yes. Most of the racists in this country don't differ radically from the racists in Europe, soclalist through and through but desirous of restricting those social progams to specific groups.

Statement one complete balder dash with out the tax cut the pie is smaller. You get more money because tax cuts spur economic growth and make the size of the pie larger so that even with a smaller tax rate you get more revenue. It's simple math 35% of 10 is more than 38% of 8. The same is true no matter how many zeros you put behind the ten and the eight provided it si the same number of Zeros behind each.

Statement to Horse feathers. Obama care will be driving the debt into the stratusphere for the foreseeable future. they got the math wrong and their underlying assumptions are bogus. Most of those young healthy adults they were hoping to rob in order to pay for this - because of Obama's economic policies - are jobless or working part time and qualify for medicaid. Most of the rest aren't making ehough money to carry the old and the chronically ill.

The fact is anyone taking office was walking into that. Big deal, he has done very little. Just saying, you don't have any evidence of success there. Zip.

The vast majority of President Obama's detractors, and those who claim he will have a lousy legacy in the history books, are those who were supremely confident that Mitt Romney would win the 2012 election.

You're exactly right. Why then doesn't the president negotiate? Why is he stalemating every legislation? hatred and racism!

"To summarize, the National Debt increased by huge amounts under each of these presidents. However, the largest increase under any President, whether for one or two terms, occurred during Barack Obama’s first term, which saw an increase of $5.806 trillion to the National Debt.

As of the end of President Obama’s first term, the National Debt stands at $16.433 trillion dollars. Current Obama administration projections indicate that the National Debt will increase to over $20 trillion by the end of his second term. "

ha, i use this cause i it leads to a question right back at you republicans - Feel free to explain why Obama was to blame for ballooning of the DEBT?

Also, i'm just stating events that happened during their presidency and events they will be blamed for. Unfortunately so many Americans lack the clear nonpartisan mind to think these things clearly. Bush may have played a hand but by and large, financial crisis was caused by private sector. Americans have become cowards, unwilling to be held accountable for their actions and have used the government as a scapegoat for everything.

Private sector was mostly at fault for financial crisis, NOT Bush or Clinton

Private sector was mostly to blame for the ballooning debt. Why? FINANCIAL CRISIS. This played by FAR the biggest role in the DEBT problem as the economic slowdown resulted in less revenues (less employed, less tax revenues) and more welfare (unemployed, food stamps). Second comes Bush, by passing new completely unnecesary tax cuts which took trillions off revenues. Then comes the trillions spent on Iraq and Afghanistan. THEN, comes the stimulus under Bush and Obama.. Obama played a small role, if any, in the debt problem. He couldn't stop it but no-one could've...

it's unbelievable how partisan and ignorant Amercicans have become, seldom is the truth spoken.. most of it is politically motivated rant and ignorance.

    *Borg voice* NEGOTIATION IS IRRELEVANT.

    sorry, I just had to.

    Taken from dictionary.com, "Compromise"
"Give me what I want or I won't do my job" does not fit the definition of a compromise.

The president doesn't control government spending. Furthermore, no Obama nay sayer on this forum has been able to pinpoint which Obama policy has increased the national debt. I'm still waiting.

The deficit and recession was inherited. National debt increases during a recession. It is fundamental economics.

National debt is the number of outstanding treasury bills. It is always increasing. The next president will have the largest national debt in history. It is impossible to reverse the trend without doing serious damage to the economy.

Um have you not noticed that unemployment among the 19 -30 crowd is nearly double what it is among other age cohorts? Please note this is a fact of life in Europe and has been for decades and it is European policies he is mostly aping.

people blame government for being partisan and useless but they are the same. Everyone blaming Obama for the increasing DEBT hasn't got the slightest clue of anything. Of course, they love to tie the number to him cause they are the same as the politicians they vote for - deceivers and politically driven. They blame Obama for DEBT but don't blame Bush for crisis, you can't have it both ways. Reality is that Bush wasn't to blame for financial crisis (maybe played a small role) and Obama isn't to blame for the DEBT.

Put 20 of the brightest economists on a panel and they will tell you what has resulted in this debt - financial disaster Obama inherited. The Bush tax cuts and trillion usd wars didn't help, at all.

when you stop being a politician, i will take you seriously. The first thing you need to do, is stop blaming Obama for the DEBT. Then, i may consider you to be serious about a good debate. Educate yourself on the causes of the debt, then talk. FOX news is not a good source pal, i would recommend, CBO.

As far as the President negotiating, i will admit one thing. I think he has not done a great job here. Yes, republicans have unleashed a smear campaign on him, shown hatred rarely seen in the past towards a president and acted like a bunch of irresponsible frauds (polls showing it) but Obama should've remained above them. I think Obama struggled with two strategies - 1. act like them by attacking them and refusing to talk or 2. Give in and negotiate. I think he should've taken #2 but easier said that done. The problem with #2 is that some democrats would've turned on Obama and also, he would've encouraged the tea party, making them feel like they can get their way if they pressure speaker Boehner enough. Speaker Boehner was willing to compromise with Obama but he couldn't even control his own party. I think Obama just did not want to give an inch to the far right; he would've compromised with a reasonable Boehner though. I still believe Obama should've made a stronger effort to find a compromise, even if it meant letting Republicans get their way on some things. I think the American public would've seen this as the president being the reasonable one and republicans being extreme and unreasonable. Of course, some woud've seen this as a sign of weakness...

I wasn't too fond of some of the things Obama said during speeches, like 'at gun point', 'holding the country hostage', he should've been more presidential and let his dogs do this talk. Having said this, i don't think he should've given AN INCH on the individual mandate and Obamacare demands during the debt limit fiasco, not here. This was absolutely unacceptable behaviour from republicans and the precedent had to be set that NO-ONE could get their way by making demands everytime these deadlines came about.

That has to do with politicians selling the middle class on a dream that college education guarentees you a nice middle class lifestyle while they outsource our middle class workforce to cheap foreign labor.

Also, the recession destroyed baby boomers retirement accounts, causing them to work longer. More baby boomers holding onto jobs is less job openings for millenials.

Europe is in a self-defeating austerity program. Despite record unemployment, they laid off thousands of public sector workers in the name of "budget cuts." Obama spoke AGAINST this, not for this. Guess who is promoting this same austerity in the US? Hint: it isn't the democrats.

Once again, you FAILED to cite even one policy of Obama's that has hurt young adults.

The only austerity here is not growing the government even more. I hardly call that austerity.
