I think that the President was born in the US, he was simply doing this to sound more exotic so more people would buy his book. It is justified outrage on the part of the so-called birthers to want this checked into, since he did do that.

Secondly- that didn't justify any 'Birther outrage'- the publication was only discovered in 2012- it was so obscure that the fine Birther researchers took 4 years to discover it- 4 years of Birther lies, speculation and innuendo before they found this brochure.

Finally- the author of the brochure says that the error was entirely hers.

Which of course makes since- because Barack Obama had been telling national publications since 1990 that he was born in Hawaii.
