You are talking about the commission that concluded that direct responsibility for the massacre rested with the Phalangists, right? In other words arabs massacred arabs as always....Cause from your posts the actual conclusion of the commission is not quite obvious, you know. LOL

Committing genocide is restraint to you?

That tells us a lot about you.

That last post I responded to demonstrates this practice I increasingly see among Israel supporters. It is this attempt to divert the discussion to what someone else is doing often somewhere else and sometimes even in another decade or century every time the matter of Israel's human rights abuses are discussed.

The Truth is there are no justifications for Israels genocide.

No bad acts of others anywhere or anytime excuse it or justify it or make it righteous/right with God.

This tribunal was a show trial held within an Islamic state where Sharia courts are predominant, Islam is the official state religion, and religious minorities face numerous restrictions. The assertion that the Israel-Palestinian conflict is anything remotely resembling genocide is laughable on its face and is nothing more than more than hyperbolic demonization of Israel, a genocide in which the apparent victims have an exponential population growth and less than 1% of their overall population (including combatants) has been killed over a 26 year period of mutual conflict is simply the most peculiar genocide in recorded history.

The assertions that the Israel-Palestinian conflict borders on anything remotely resembling genocide is simply more demonization, but one expects nothing less from a holocaust denier who sings the praises of Salafist self confessed terrorist murderers.

THIS comment is exactly what I was addressing.

THE fact the Phalangists did wrong too does not excuse the wrong Israelis did.

Israel let the Phalangists into the camps, they were guarding those camps and opened the doors and let the Phalangists carry out a killing spree of mostly old men and women and children. And the Israelis watched it all happen. They shot flares into the night so the Phalangists could see to kill more clearly.

Except the IDF took no part in the killing whatsoever, I'm guessing that the Phalangists were pissed that there leader had been assassinated by the PLO and that the PLO had been slaughtering Christians for years including cutting off the arms and breasts after raping them and murdering their children in front of their eyes and then after the mutilation executing them in cold blood.

    The Anti-Chomsky Reader p. 95:

We can also learn of a pregant mother of eleven children who was murdered "just for the fun of it" along with her baby; small children mutilated and killed when terrorists threw a grenade at them; a man whose limbs were chained to four vehicles which were then driven in opposite directions, tearing him to pieces; a newspaper editor found with his fingers cut off joint by joint, his eyes gouged out and his limbs hacked off; a local religious leader whose family was forced to watch as his daughter was raped and murdered, with her breasts torn away; a dead girl with both hands severed and part of her head missing; men who were castrated during torture sessions; men and women chopped to pieces with axes, and various manifestations of "relative peace" under the benevolent rule of the PLO.

An entire family had been killed, the Can'an family, four children all dead and the mother, the father, and the granfather. The mother was still hugging one of the children. And she was pregnant. The eyes of the children were gone and their limbs were cut off. No legs no arms..... We buried them in the cemetary, under the shells of the PLO. And while I was burying them more corpses were found in the street.

Jillian Becker, The PLO: The Rise and Fall of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (Weidenfeld & Nicholson, 1984), p. 123, quoting the town priest.

The PLO men killed Susan's father and her brother, and raped her mother, who suffered a hemorrhage and died. They raped Susan "many times." They cut off her breasts and shot her. Hours later she was found alive, but with all four of her limbs so badly broken and torn with gunshot that they had to be surgically amputated. She now only has the upper part of one arm.

    Ibid, p. 154

And according to award-winning observor and reporter David Shipler the PLO:

Strategically placed weapons in densely populated civilian areas in the hope that this would either deter Israeli attacks or exact price from Israel in world opinion for killing civilians. Crates of ammunition were stacked in underground shelters and antiaircraft guns were emplaced in schoolyards, among apartment houses, next to churches and hospitals.

The Tribunal took the facts and applied international law to those facts and reached a legal conclusion that specific officials and Israel committed genocide under international law.

Zionists are completely free to keep excusing and defending and laughing at Israel's genocide, they have been doing it for over 70 years now.

But Injustices like genocide always end and the last laugh shall I expect be on the Zionists.

They did not participate in the killing, why the onus of responsibility to have stopped it is on the IDF I have no idea, would the PLO have risked their own lives to stop the killing of Jews? Give us a break.

You have been provided the facts, you have been provided the international law relevant to the case for genocide, you choose to ignore these undeniable facts and instead resort to demonization just like the Islamic show trial. This tribunal was a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing joke and everyone here knows it except apparently for holocaust denying lovers of Salafist self confessed murderers.

The only genocidal ones in this situation are the worshipers of the pedophile mass murderer and schizophrenic lunatic Mohammad who wish for the extermination of world Jewry, the Islamic Imperialists are already responsible for the largest genocide of antiquity and now seek to perpetrate a new genocide against the Jews just like the false prophet Mohammad did to the Banu tribes on the Arabian peninsula, it's all in the Hamas charter clear as day.

We see a Tribunal finding Israel guilty of genocide.

We have seen other Tribunals make similar findings of violations by Israel of other international human rights laws, such as The Russell Tribunal.

Your refusal to accept Israel's commission of violations of international law changes nothing.

I call such denials Zionism on display in our world, denials of culpability for war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by the nation calling herself Israel who proclaimed herself into existence in the year 1948 is the face of Zionism, an image of Zionism in the year 2013.

    Posters here are not Judges.

Legal Tribunals have judges experienced with international law.

And this thread addresses the legal Opinion of a legal Tribunal who has applied international law and reached a conclusion that Israel has committed genocide against the Palestinian people.

Nothing is ever as simple as the simple minded believe it to be .

If Muslims ever wanted to carry out a program of genocide against Jews , they had ample opportunities to do so over 1400 yrs . On the contrary , Jews often escaped persecution from Christian Lands to Muslim controlled countries. The only Jews Muhamed is accused of killing was the treacherous - turn coats - Banu Quraizah who attempt to betray the Muslims to their enemies.

Read and learn :Myth #1: Prophet Muhammad murdered 700 innocent Jews

Did Prophet Muhammad kill 700 Jews?

This is perhaps one of the most common contemporary allegations levied against Prophet Muhammad It is also one of the most spurious.

This event occurred after the largest battle ever held on Arabian soil in Medina during Prophet Muhammad’s life. The Confederate Army comprised of no less than 12,000 soldiers while the Muslims barricaded themselves in Medina, along with their sworn allies—per the Charter of Medina—numbering roughly a tenth the size. While the Muslims were victorious, they came within moments of annihilation due to the Banu Quraizah tribe’s treason.

Critics baselessly claim that Prophet Muhammad blindly executed the entire tribe. This too is baseless. Prophet Muhammad and the Jews were allies, as enshrined in the Charter of Medina Article 49, which states, “The parties to this Pact are bound to help each other in the event of an attack on Yathrib.” The Banu Quraizah Tribe was an equal and willing party to this pact. Yet, in the heat of battle, the Banu Quraizah sided with the enemy against the state of Medina despite their prior signed agreement. Fortunately, the remaining allied Medina army was able to withstand this treasonous act and win the battle against incredible odds. The question remained, however, how to address the Banu Quraizah’s treason.

Adding to the dilemma was the fact that the Banu Quraizah had committed this act once before, upon which Prophet Muhammad merely exiled them. When they later asked his forgiveness, he granted it, which is why they had since re-entered Medina. The 19th century historian Stanley Lane-Poole accurately describes the events that followed the Battle of the Ditch:

Of the sentences on the three clans, that of exile, passed upon two of them, was clement enough. They were a turbulent set, always setting the people of Medina by the ears; and finally, a brawl followed by an insurrection resulted in the expulsion of one tribe; and insubordination, alliance with enemies and a suspicion of conspiracy against the Prophet’s life, ended similarly for the second.

Both tribes had violated the original treaty, and had endeavored in every way to bring Muhammad and his religion to ridicule and destruction. The only question is whether their punishment was not too light. Of the third clan a fearful example was made, not by Muhammad, but by an arbiter appointed by themselves.

When Quraish and their allies were besieging Medina and had well-nigh stormed the defences, this Jewish tribe [the Banu Quraizah] entered into negotiations with the enemy, which were only circumvented by the diplomacy of the Prophet. When the besiegers had retired, Muhammad naturally demanded an explanation of the Jews. They resisted in their dogged way and were themselves besieged and compelled to surrender at discretion. Muhammad, however, consented to the appointing of a chief of a tribe allied to the Jews as the judge who should pronounce sentence upon them. This chief gave sentence that the men, in numbers some 600, should be killed, and the women and children enslaved; and the sentence was carried out. It was a harsh, bloody sentence; but it must be remembered that the crime of these men was high treason against the State, during a time of siege; and one need not be surprised at the summary execution of a traitorous clan.” [2]

Thus, Prophet Muhammad did not order any execution, nor did he participate in the execution. On the contrary, Prophet Muhammad graciously agreed to let the Banu Quraizah’s own ally, Sa‘d bin Mu‘adh of Aus, deliver the verdict.
Why blame Prophet Muhammad for a decision he did not make and for a crime he did not commit? Adding to the injustice in blaming Prophet Muhammad is the fact that Sa‘d bin Mu‘adh did not deliver his decision based on the Qur’an. Rather, he delivered the judgment for the Banu Quraizah based on the punishment for treason that their book, the Torah, prescribes:

“When thou comest nigh unto a city to fight against it, then proclaim peace unto it. And it shall be, if it make thee answer of peace, and open unto thee, then it shall be, that all the people that is found therein shall be tributaries unto thee, and they shall serve thee. And if it will make no peace with thee, but will make war against thee, then thou shalt besiege it: And when the Lord thy God hath delivered it into thine hands, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword: But the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou take unto thyself; and thou shalt eat the spoil of thine enemies, which the Lord thy God hath given thee. Thus shalt thou do unto all the cities which the Lord thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth: But thou shalt utterly destroy them; namely, the Hittites, and the Amorites, the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee: That they teach you not to do after all their abominations, which they have done unto their gods; so should ye sin against the Lord your God.” [3]

    ====

Thus, the Banu Quraizah sealed their own fate, with their own actions, according to their own Book. Prophet Muhammad had nothing to do with it—other than agreeing to let an ally to the Banu Quraizah arbitrate between them, and to bind himself to that arbiter’s decision.

Moreover, no Jewish tribes, Jewish historians, or Jewish scholars record this event. This is shocking because the Jewish people have recorded their history better than perhaps any people in history. Yet, in regards to such a massive execution, every Jewish historian, scholar, and tribe is silent.

Dr. Barakat Ahmad, author of “Muhammad and the Jews,” argues, based on authentic sources from time periods well before Ibn Ishaq, that it is highly probable that no execution took place at all. We gladly invite Wilders, or anyone for that matter, to respond to Dr. Ahmad’s book.

As of now, however, it is clear that Prophet Muhammad committed no wrong against the Banu Quraizah. History records that the Banu Quraizah agreed to a constitution, the Charter of Medina, and that constitution explicitly required loyalty to the state of Medina, particularly in case of attack from an external army. After committing to Medina, the Banu Quraizah violated that loyalty with a treasonous act in the heat of battle. The claimed execution that followed, if it happened, was the result of their choice to commit treason, per the judgment of a judge they demanded, according to the law elucidated in their book. Prophet Muhammad, far from being responsible for any deaths, interceded and even forgave those Jews who asked his forgiveness. To place even the slightest responsibility on anyone but the Banu Quraizah is nothing less than ridiculous.

What did Muslims do for Jews ?

We've all heard how much Jews have suffered since they upset their god and was sent into exile . Hmmm Well, they don't often say that , they rather choose to play the victim and make the Goyim feel guilt for their "persecution " THeir lives were so bad in Europe + the Arab world , that Jews more often as not enjoyed a much higher stardard of living than the average non-Jewish citizens

Here's an interesting article from Jewish Chronicle written by a Jew who dare revealing historical facts :

    ----

Islam saved Jewry. This is an unpopular, discomforting claim in the modern world. But it is a historical truth.

The argument for it is double. First, in 570 CE, when the Prophet Mohammad was born, the Jews and Judaism were on the way to oblivion. And second, the coming of Islam saved them, providing a new context in which they not only survived, but flourished, laying foundations for subsequent Jewish cultural prosperity - also in Christendom - through the medieval period into the modern world.

By the fourth century, Christianity had become the dominant religion in the Roman empire. One aspect of this success was opposition to rival faiths, including Judaism, along with massive conversion of members of such faiths, sometimes by force, to Christianity. Much of our testimony about Jewish existence in the Roman empire from this time on consists of accounts of conversions.

Great and permanent reductions in numbers through conversion, between the fourth and the seventh centuries, brought with them a gradual but relentless whittling away of the status, rights, social and economic existence, and religious and cultural life of Jews all over the Roman empire.

A long series of enactments deprived Jewish people of their rights as citizens, prevented them from fulfilling their religious obligations, and excluded them from the society of their fe

All that static you just wrote is pointless, muslims act like the spawn of satan himself, givin the chance they would kill every non muslim in the world without care. Muslims deserve everything they get for what they have done in Africa, the middle east, India, Russia ect. They want to live by the sword they should die by the sword.

The Jews have suffered numerous pogroms at the hands of the Muslims starting with the ethnic cleansing of the Banu, and it continued on from there:

In Moorish Spain, ibn Hazm and Abu Ishaq focused their anti-Jewish writings on the latter allegation. This was also the chief motivation behind the 1066 Granada massacre, when "[m]ore than 1,500 Jewish families, numbering 4,000 persons, fell in one day",[11] and in Fez in 1033, when 6,000 Jews were killed.[12] There were further massacres in Fez in 1276 and 1465.[13]

The Damascus affair occurred in 1840, when a French monk and his servant disappeared in Damascus. Immediately following, a charge of ritual murder was brought against a large number of Jews in the city including children who were tortured. The consuls of England, France and Germany as well as Ottoman authorities, Christians, Muslims and Jews all played a great role in this affair.[14] Following the Damascus affair, Pogroms spread through the Middle East and North Africa. Pogroms occurred in: Aleppo (1850, 1875), Damascus (1840, 1848, 1890), Beirut (1862, 1874), Dayr al-Qamar (1847), Jerusalem (1847), Cairo (1844, 1890, 1901–02), Mansura (1877), Alexandria (1870, 1882, 1901–07), Port Said (1903, 1908), Damanhur (1871, 1873, 1877, 1891), Istanbul (1870, 1874), Buyukdere (1864), Kuzguncuk (1866), Eyub (1868), Edirne (1872), Izmir (1872, 1874).[15] There was a massacre of Jews in Baghdad in 1828.[12] There was another massacre in Barfurush in 1867.[12]

In 1839, in the eastern Persian city of Meshed, a mob burst into the Jewish Quarter, burned the synagogue, and destroyed the Torah scrolls. This is known as the Allahdad incident. It was only by forcible conversion that a massacre was averted.[16]

Pure Islamic Imperialist propaganda the Banu Qurayza did absolutely nothing to deserve the slaughter and ethnic cleansing which they received, they never lifted a finger against the Muslims and the treaty conditions did not obligate them to fight for the Muslims, it was unprovoked genocide plain and simple, the assertion that the Jews themselves were responsible for their own genocide and that Mohammad lacks responsibility because one of his Lieutenants rather than himself ordered the slaughter even though he clearly agreed with the decision to have them slaughtered is truly laughable. The Banu Nadir did fight back against Mohammad but only because he ethnically cleansed them from Medina after they had granted him shelter. Furthermore; like the Qurayza the Banu Qaynuqa never lifted a finger against Mohammad or the Muslims and were expelled (ethnically cleansed) as well.

Abu as-Sa'ib, the freed slave of Hisham b. Zuhra, said that he visited Abu Sa'id Khudri in his house, (and he further) said: [...] There was a young man amongst us who had been newly wedded. We went with Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) (to participate in the Battle of the trench) when a young man in the midday used to seek permission from Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) to return to his family. One day he sought permission from him and Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) (after granting him the permission) said to him: Carry your weapons with you for I fear the tribe of Quraiza (may harm you). The man carried the weapons and then came back and found his wife standing between the two doors...
    Sahih Muslim 26:5557

Narrated Abd-Allah ibn al-Zubayr: During the battle of Al-Ahzab, I and 'Umar bin Abi-Salama were kept behind with the women. Behold! I saw (my father) Az-Zubair riding his horse, going to and coming from Banu Qurayza twice or thrice. So when I came back I said, "O my father! I saw you going to and coming from Banu Qurayza?" He said, "Did you really see me, O my son?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Allah's Apostle said, 'Who will go to Bani Quraiza and bring me their news?' So I went, and when I came back, Allah's Apostle mentioned for me both his parents saying, "Let my father and mother be sacrificed for you."'
Sahih Bukhari 5:57:66, See Also: Sahih Muslim 31:5940

Narrated 'Aisha: When Allah's Apostle returned on the day (of the battle) of Al-Khandaq (i.e. Trench), he put down his arms and took a bath. Then Gabriel whose head was covered with dust, came to him saying, "You have put down your arms! By Allah, I have not put down my arms yet." Allah's Apostle said, "Where (to go now)?" Gabriel said, "This way," pointing towards the tribe of Bani Quraiza. So Allah's Apostle went out towards them.
Sahih Bukhari 4:52:68, See Also: Sahih Bukhari 5:59:443, Sahih Muslim 19:4370

Narrated Anas ibn Malik: As if I am just now looking at the dust rising in the street of Banu Ghanm (in Medina) because of the marching of Gabriel's regiment when Allah's Apostle set out to Banu Qurayza (to attack them).
    Sahih Bukhari 5:59:444

Narrated Abd-Allah ibn Umar: On the day of Al-Ahzab (i.e. Clans) the Prophet said, "None of you Muslims) should offer the 'Asr prayer but at Banu Qurayza's place." The 'Asr prayer became due for some of them on the way. Some of those said, "We will not offer it till we reach it, the place of Banu Quraiza," while some others said, "No, we will pray at this spot, for the Prophet did not mean that for us." Later on it was mentioned to the Prophet and he did not berate any of the two groups.
Sahih Bukhari 5:59:445, See Also: Sahih Muslim 19:4374

Narrated Abu-Sa'id al-Khudri: When the tribe of Banu Qurayza was ready to accept Sad's judgment, Allah's Apostle sent for Sad who was near to him. Sad came, riding a donkey and when he came near, Allah's Apostle said (to the Ansar), "Stand up for your leader." Then Sad came and sat beside Allah's Apostle who said to him. "These people are ready to accept your judgment." Sad said, "I give the judgment that their warriors should be killed and their children and women should be taken as prisoners." The Prophet then remarked, "O Sad! You have judged amongst them with (or similar to) the judgment of the King Allah."
Sahih Bukhari 4:52:280, See Also: Sahih Bukhari 5:58:148, Sahih Bukhari 8:74:278, Sahih Muslim 19:4368, Sahih Muslim 19:4369

Narrated Abd-Allah ibn Umar: Banu Nadir and Banu Qurayza fought (against the Prophet violating their peace treaty), so the Prophet exiled Bani An-Nadir and allowed Bani Quraiza to remain at their places (in Medina) taking nothing from them till they fought against the Prophet again). He then killed their men and distributed their women, children and property among the Muslims, but some of them came to the Prophet and he granted them safety, and they embraced Islam. He exiled all the Jews from Medina. They were the Jews of Banu Qaynuqa, the tribe of Abdullah bin Salam and the Jews of Bani Haritha and all the other Jews of Medina.

Narrated Aisha: No woman of Banu Qurayza was killed except one. She was with me, talking and laughing on her back and belly (extremely), while the Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) was killing her people with the swords. Suddenly a man called her name: Where is so-and-so? She said: I I asked: What is the matter with you? She said: I did a new act. She said: The man took her and beheaded her. She said: I will not forget that she was laughing extremely although she knew that she would be killed.
    Abu Dawud 14:2665

Narrated Atiyyah al-Qurazi: I was among the captives of Banu Qurayza. They (the Companions) examined us, and those who had begun to grow hair (pubes) were killed, and those who had not were not killed. I was among those who had not grown hair.
    Abu Dawud 38:4390

“The Jews were made to come down, and Allah’s Messenger imprisoned them. Then the Prophet went out into the marketplace of Medina (it is still its marketplace today), and he had trenches dug in it. He sent for the Jewish men and had them beheaded in those trenches. They were brought out to him in batches. They numbered 800 to 900 boys and men. As they were being taken in small groups to the Prophet, they said to one another, ‘What do you think will be done to us?’ Someone said, ‘Do you not understand. On each occasion do you not see that the summoner never stops? He does not discharge anyone. And that those who are taken away do not come back. By God, it is death!’ The affair continued until the Messenger of Allah had finished with them all.”
    Al-Tabari, Vol. 8, p. 35, See Also Ishaq:464

“Then the Apostle divided the property, wives, and children of the Qurayza among the Muslims. Allah’s Messenger took his fifth of the booty.”
    Ishaq:465

“The Prophet selected for himself from among the Jewish women of the Qurayza, Rayhanah bt. Amr. She became his concubine. When he predeceased her, she was still in his possession. When the Messenger of Allah took her as a captive, she showed herself averse to Islam and insisted on Judaism.”
    Al-Tabari, Vol. 8, p. 38

“Then the Messenger of Allah sent Sa’d bin Zayd with some of the Qurayza captives to Najd, and in exchange for them he purchased horses and arms.” “The Messenger of God commanded that furrows should be dug in the ground for the Qurayza. Then he sat down. Ali and Zubayr began cutting off their heads in his presence.”
    Al-Tabari, Vol. 8, pp. 39-40

Mohammad was directly responsible for the attack on and slaughter of the Banu Qurayza!

Arabs massacred arabs and Israel was watching....Hundred of thousands if not millions were massacred in Rwanda and Darfur and the entire world was watching indifferently...In all cases its savages massacring each other, in all cases no one in the west moves a finger and in all cases your ilk just must single out Israel.

We see an Islamic Tribunal conducting a show trial with a preordained conclusion trying to assert that the death of less than 1% of the total population (which includes combatants) of the apparent victims over a 26 year period of protracted combat on both sides is tantamount to genocide. It is laughable beyond words.

This opinion is not based on the law it is based on demonization and hatred of Israel.
