I wouldn't call them liars. I would call them terribly deluded, blinded by their own faith based belief.

Not only is it true, but as I've pointed out approximately three times already, it is confirmed by the Sceptical Science abstract study, the Doran and Zimmerman study and the Anderegg study. This is simply how crazy people have become in America. There are three separate scientific studies confirming practically identical results, zero evidence to the contrary, and you are arguing that it is the contrary position which is true.

Please permit me to point out that nothing you have thus far said has any credibility because it contradicts all of the available evidence. You might want to look that word up and study its meaning.

By all means, leave out the others that don't. Skeptical Science is a CAGW blog, defending all things fear mongering about Global Warming.

Lol, deflect, deflect, deflect, split some hair in an attempt to disprove something....you libbies just refuse to accept reality at all, don't you?

Here's a quote form the OP article:

"The expedition to gauge the effects of climate change on the region began November 27"

Go ahead, keep twirling and spinning...if nothing else, it will provide comic relief.

Can someone point me to the computer model (which is what all of the CAGW is based on) which predicted no statistically significant warming over the last 15 years?

Absolutely, because we all know it's is physically impossible that a research vessel could have tourists on board...it goes against the laws of nature....

Then again, we can also read...like where it says in one article:

"There are 74 people aboard the vessel, some crew members and some passengers —half of them scientists, and half people who paid to assist in the experiments."

    or

"Fifty-seven people spent Christmas Day aboard the ship, including 22 crew members and 35 passengers. Most of those aboard are scientists, though the group did open the trip to members of the public with prices starting at $8,000 for a bunk."

GASP! What's this? these "scientists" accepted money to allow tourists help them with experiments? Say it isn't so!

Lol, I often marvel at idiots who like to make fools of themselves in public, and man, you are right up there with Miley Cyrus right about now....

If the Little Ice Age was really the coldest single century in eleven thousand years (as apparently it was) than it is hardly surprising that the Earth might spend several centuries warming back up from it, a process that occurred independent of CO_2 levels and that continues similarly independent today.

Water vapor has far, far more influence on the greenhouse effect than CO2 does. CO2 is a "poor" greenhouse gas.

I just love the lefties insistence that lefty funded "facts" that support themselves are "proof" of anything.

It's about like me telling you "I'm a genius, and if yu don't believe me, you can ask me".

    Lolololololololol....

97% claim is utter BS. It was never true, and still isn't.

We have been warming up from the LIA for much longer than the CAGWers have been around. They arrive on the scene and now it is a calamity by golly!

:roflol: I love this thread... It's hysterical watching the liberals attempt to cling to the lie of Man-made Global Warming/Climate Change, as it's swept beneath their feet. Keep struggling and grasping for that man-made evidence.

How many times do we have to disprove the theory, using new-found evidence and reporting from their own MSM, before they accept the truth? How many times do we have to quote notable scientists, before they drop the 97% consensus BS? How many times do we have to showcase the evidence of Climategate, before they admit it's an outed scam? How many times do we have to provide evidence that it's a money-making, wealth-redistribution game that's making Liberal politicians, like Al Gore, rich?

It's gotten so ridiculously, laughably stupid that you just can't take the Liberal argument seriously anymore. Even the Polar bears are laughing at you, as their population flourishes.

I just think it's amazing how you can completely reverse the truth to its opposite position and act like you're the one being reasonable.

    Anderreg study:-

97–98% of the climate researchers most actively publishing in the field support the tenets of ACC outlined by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, and (ii) the relative climate expertise and scientific prominence of the researchers unconvinced of ACC are substantially below that of the convinced researchers.

    http://www.pnas.org/content/early/2010/06/04/1003187107.abstract

    Doran and Zimmerman study:-

Of ‘those who listed climate science as their area of expertise’ and who had ‘published more than 50% of their recent peer-reviewed papers on the subject of climate change’, 96% said ‘risen’ in response to the first question and 97% said ‘yes’ to the second. ‘It seems’, the paper concluded, ‘that the debate of the authenticity of global warming and the role played by human activity is largely nonexistent among those who understand the nuances and scientific basis of long-term climate processes.

    http://www.garnautreview.org.au/update-2011/commissioned-work/the-'scientigic-consensus-on-climate-change'.pdf

    http://tigger.uic.edu/~pdoran/012009_Doran_final.pdf

    Orsekes study:-

Oreskes [2004] reviewed 928 abstracts from peer-reviewed research papers and found that more than 75% either explicitly or implicitly accepted the consensus view that Earth's climate is being affected by human activities.

    http://adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2009EOSTr..90...22D

As the data shows, since 2004, what was already a highly dominant scientific position has become further solidified as more and more research has been performed which is consistent with the contention that man is directly influencing the climate.

I don't know what else to say, other than I find it absolutely amazing what it is possible to convince other human beings of through either religion or politics.

    ((((((((((((((Sigh)))))))))))))))))

How dumb do you think the scientific community is? Please don't answer that because usually the yardstick being used is that of the right wing shock jock and the kindest description of those people is "mononeuronis a synapsis" (one brain cell that is unattached to anything)

I mean do you HONESTLY think they overlooked water vapour?

Ah, you have used almost all of the lib proxy words. Good for you. They don't mean anything except they sure make you feel superior because you "know" you are right, in spite of all the problems with CAGW.

So how dumb do you think the scientific community that has not bought into CAGW is?

    - - - Updated - - -

Tell me this, what did they overlook? The have, after all, not predicted the current hiatus in warming.

    But they did

What they did not predict was that we would go through a solar minimum

These are the same conspiracists who claimed the Alaska pipeline was going to doom the caribou population. They even admit that a cow produces more harmful atmospheric gases than your SUV.

How long before they are taxing our cheeseburger consumption to save the planet?

    It's all a taxation racket.

LOL, evidently you are not keeping up on things. They didn't and that is what all the uproar is about. They are now trying to explain it after the fact. Some prediction.

So you finally admit the models are deeply flawed, Congratulations, you are making progress. Seems as if just yesterday you were saying the sun had no effect on temperature. Nice to see you are learning some science

Ahhh! Sorry - admitting nothing of the sort - having a solar minimum like we just had was more than a little out of left field and no-one would have predicted it. And please show where I said the sun had no effect on temperature

Keep implying that I am that ignorant or stupid will get you reported to the site moderators

point 1- since the unverified models failed to account the sun's effects that led to a halt in temperature increases for 15 year I do have to wonder what else they failed to take into account. Don't you ?

point 2 - nowhere have I ever called anyone stupid. In fact I did just the opposite in mt last post when I said you were learning. Stupid people never learn, smart people cure their ignorance. offtopic - myself for example. Been reading a book lately that has a lot of yiddish, love the kindle as it just lets me wiki it. Just me but I have always loved to learn new things and have even been known to re evaluate my positions. Once I too believed in AGW until I started noting that non of their predictions ever came to pass
