They do, but unfortunately they do a better job reporting old school on weekends than they do on weekday evenings when people want to see the news and not listen to people from either side foaming at the mouth.

Damn, at this juncture there are three people who think CNN is more biased than Fox 'News'.

    That's wild.

I don't know what CNN is up to these days. I guess they're trying to fall somewhere in between FOX and MSNBC. I think they're failing miserably at it but, I guess that's the plan.

This is a matter of opinion, in spite of the measures PEW research uses when conducting studies on bias amongst cable news networks...

Having said that, the media in general used to be center left in the days of the big 3.

In 1996, Fox took the right end of the spectrum and ran right off the spectrum into the weeds, all the while claiming to be fair and balanced. Ann Coulter pointed out last night that MSNBC only has articulate liberals and ineffective conservatives on the show, well, I wonder if she truly missed how Fox does the same thing in reverse.

Nobody thinks Fox is fair and balanced anymore.

That's why I get more than one view of things. Some touch on things the others don't. If they disagree, I hunt for more information. I think that gives me a more balanced view of things and makes me look at both sides more.

So you claim. Seems you're pretty stuck on FOX, to me.

CNN is the closest to neutral. Their bias is only slightly left. Fox News is a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing joke.

That's because Fox digs deeper into things and doesn't let some things go with just the initial report, like Benghazi. That would never have gone to a Senate hearing if Fox hadn't pushed it. They would have just passed it off as a mob attack because of the video.

Hmmm... you make it sound like Fox 'News' controls the Republican agenda. I'd say that's a fair bet.

That's a good point. As the only right wing news source, they are of course going to get more market share, as they have no competition offering a similar product.

They are only a joke if your Left and don't want to know the whole story. Unlike MSNBC, Fox doesn't edit videos and audio tapes to make things look completely different than they actually are. They don't lie constantly as MSNBC does. But if your Left and only want to believe the lies MSNBC tells, then yes, Fox is a joke. I myself would rather know the truth.

That would be a 'winning' bet.

I'm afraid sir, you and those like you will never come around. You let Obama lie to you over and over and never hold him accountable. You let MSNBC lie and lie to you and never call them out. You guys are so used to being lied to, you wouldn't know the truth when it's pointed out to you. Maybe you do and really don't want to hear it.

the political science department at UCLA has made a study just on what you asked

Five news outlets — "NewsHour With Jim Lehrer," ABC's "Good Morning America," CNN's "NewsNight With Aaron Brown," Fox News' "Special Report With Brit Hume" and the Drudge Report — were in a statistical dead heat in the race for the most centrist news outlet.

    http://newsroom.ucla.edu/portal/ucla/Media-Bias-Is-Real-Finds-UCLA-6664.aspx

I understand this is from 2005 im in the search for a more updated study if one exist

but according to the big drop in CNN viewership they have been leaning to far left and competing with MSNBC for the left leaning audience and leaving Fox (taking their ratings into consideration) is scoping up the ones in the middle along with the ones on the right
so it is safe to make an assumption that yes Fox leans right but not as far as CNN leans left otherwise Fox wouldn't be getting as large of a viewership. so they must be picking up the viewers from the middle also to achieve that large viewership

We love FOX. We hate Obama. MSNBC sucks. All the left believes are lies. Only right wingers know the truth.

I think I got it. FOX rules.

Fox doesn't always get it right. But they don't outright lie like MSNBC does with their doctored tapes and you know what I'm saying. The Democratic Party isn't much better. Theu lie and cheat and have a foul mouth. How many times has your Party told you there is no voter fraud. That there has only been a handfull. That there is no need for voter ID? About 5-10 times a year? How many times have they said Romney shipped jobs to China?

Romney outsourced jobs for profit, via the company that he was CEO of at the time, so, yeah, he shipped jobs to China. That's completely accurate.

Rofl, they most certainly do edit videos/audios to make things look "completely different than they actually are". They even did it to right wing hero George Zimmerman.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALZpE73NIbY&list=UUKGzFCIwwTNI9jeoeNAI3RQ&index=28

Now, we both know Zimmerman won't dare sue Fox News, because he knows his dumb supporters all watch Fox News. And he certainly doesn't want to alienate the rubes who support him financially.

    FOX. +6
    CNN. -4
