A maximum wage of 250K/year - this will sort out the mess?

The middle class is made no better off by raping the people who pay middle class salaries.

 

The health of the middle class is the most important factor. That should be obvious.

People who claim/suggest otherwise, are full of it.

 

And I agree. All I'm saying is that screwing the pople who pay middle class wages isn't going to help the middle class of whom you are so rightfully enamored.

 

Fine. Why should the businesses they work for close when the boss has made his max profits. Or should the boss exposé themselves to risk 12 months and only get paid for a few?

Anyway, this is based all on economic fallacy. Less rich people may stroke your wealth envy, but it doesn't help the economy. No rich people in Rwanda, hasn't helped them at al.

I'm not talking about "screwing" anyone.

But I certainly am suggesting that extreme wealth INEQUALITY is as bad as screwing EVERYONE.

 

Of course.. because reality is if they were capable of being a CEO, or a successful business owner? They would be already.

But it's much easier to claim CEO's and business owners do nothing and don't deserve their income in between asking "Would you like a hot apple pie with that?".

 

This is a first step toward making the US like Cuba. Cuba has a maximum wage law. Cuba's maximum wage is considerably lower, but we all know that government works incrementally.

This year the maximum wage is $250k/yr.
Two years from now the maximum wage is lowered to $220k/yr.
Four years from now the maximum wage is lowered to $200k/yr.
Within sixteen years the maximum wage is down to under $50k/yr.

The Commons , if you mean the roads and infrastructer we have already paid for this in taxes , when something is rolled back in it should benifit the ones earning the money , not the non - producers

 

Then those people at the top of all corporations and industries will do 250K a year worth of work. Which means economic collapse which they allow to happen because they are not longer being paid enough to keep anything running right.

Same results as 250K a year no more efficient and profitable running of corporations industries or business. They all collapse and everyone goes unemoplyed.

That is the fallacy you ignore. People do not record music, or star in movies, or play sports, or run corpoations because they need to or because others need them to they do so because they are PAID to do so. Each of those highly paid people has many others relying on them to provide the job that they do for less money. Encourage the rich not to do what they do and you put the little guy out of work. That is what you get for a maximum wage cap.

This thread and the progressive liberal ideology it's derived from is more of a religion than most religions themselves. Religions basic concept is sacrifice for the common good of others. Liberalisms basic premise is sacrifice for the common good of others to the point of damaging your own self interests.
