Congratulations, Teeko, and the fans of the football team that has easily become, by far, the best in the NFL! I am ready to have a "heaping helping" of crow, with dressing and all the trimmings!

Yes, the Seahawks did look dazed and confused against San Fran, but magically by yesterday they had become a powerful, intelligent machine that had the Broncos completely mapped! The Seahawk offense was good, but their defense was almost like an extension of the Navy SEALS.

Contrast that with whoever that was that showed up wearing orange uniforms (was that the Broncos...?!). The unfortunate truth is that, yes, we in Colorado have seen this kind of thing before. It comes about when you're very, very good during the regular season, and so you get weeks of plenty of time to do nothing but sit around reflecting on your "greatness" while other teams are fighting for their lives (like the Seahawks against SF). It also gives you home-field advantage, where the other team is subjected to ear-splitting noise, but you get to call your plays in relative calm and quiet.

In the Super Bowl, however, Manning had to deal with less-than-loving crowd noise, which he blamed for losing the ball, losing two points, and suffering a lingering humliation on the very first play of the game! He blamed the botched first snap from the Broncos center on "a cadence issue", caused by crowd noise! What's up with that, Peyton? Crowd noise didn't bother you or the Broncos when you destroyed Kansas City at Arrowhead Stadium, in the cold, the snow, and to the accompaniment of thousands of madder-than-hell KC Chiefs fans! But you were still on top of your game, before you got the endless home field advantages, and before you got the silent stands of Mile High Stadium to provide an almost library-like atmosphere for your peculiar, but effective, "cadence" calling.

So, again, to you in Seattle, my congratulations! Here's a well-written story for you to enjoy: http://www.nytimes.com/2014/02/03/sports/football/start-to-finish-its-all-seahawks.html?_r=0 . Me? I'll dive into my second helping of crow now, and maybe I'll add a little Tabasco sauce to remind me of the fiery passion that the Broncos had before that fatal six weeks of "down time". It will probably be an almost entirely different Broncos team next year because of the free-agent picture, and, maybe Manning will retire now, before he really gets hurt. Ya know... crow tastes a lot like chicken!

Hey, I hate to say I told you so but I did when I said a few days ago, "I think the Seahawks are going to surprise Denver. Denver has had two weeks to sit around and relax while they listen to everybody tell them how wonderful Peyton Manning is. If Seattle is hungry they'll eat Denver alive."

All Denver did for the past two weeks was listen to everybody tell them how great they are and how wonder Peyton Manning is. It was the setup for one of the biggest disappointments is Super Bowl history. When you start believing all they hype then you have two forces against you, the other team, and your own ego. It's hard to fight on two fronts.

Seattle was hungry and they had a mighty feast indeed!!!!!!! I think Sherman got more dissing than he deserved.
He had just made a big play to seal a huge win against their archrival SF, and I think he had the right to gloat some.

Yes, I ate crow prepared about four different ways. Did you know that they now make Crow Pizza, and it tastes a lot like chicken!

Hey, what can I say. After seeing the ease with which Denver beat the crap out of New England for the AFC championship, and, also seeing how close Seattle came to losing to Kaepernick and a frankly better San Francisco team (even with your stadium crowd drowning them out with the noise of a jet taking off), I had every logical reason to think that Denver would beat the snot out of Seattle.

The difference? Seattle came with their very best game, and the Broncos didn't even show up at all. Who can make sense of it? But don't worry. The Broncos won't be back for a long time to come -- we're losing 16 players to free-agency next year. But, YOU will still have to face Kaepernick and San Francisco, and you may not be so lucky as you were this time around.... Kaepernick is a better quarterback than Wilson, and you know it.

That's it... I'm DONE eating crow for the likes of people like you.

Both teams brought their A game the difference is that Seattle was the better team Manning established a Super Bowl record for most completion passes but Seattle's defense was design against pocket quarterback.
49er's could have beat Seahawks but notice that in the second half Kaepernick stop running I think he injured himself with his last run and when Kaepernick stop running that is when the Seahawks defense start to work against Kaepernick's passes.

If Denver looks just nearly as good in the Super Bowl against Seattle as they looked against New England today at Mile High stadium in Denver, it's going to be a YAWNER. Wait and see.... I'm glad we don't have to face San Francisco! Kaepernick can throw, and, he can RUN! Denver's defense would probably have looked worse than Seattle's defense against that remarkable quarterback.

Its ESPECIALLY fun for me since i can crow about how i handed the Manning apologists, their asses to them on a platter.:roflol: and its ESPECIALLY rewarding for me that they all were too cowardly to come back here after i did that to acklowledge how they know nothing at all about football, how ignorant they are.:roflol:

    anybody would pick denver,oh REALLY?:roflol:

Being a diehard donkey fan who lives in Colorado you were obviously way too biased to look at the facts to be objective.:roflol:

the non biased people who were willing to look at the facts and be objective, had no doubts it was a no brainer seattle was going to win as evidenced in this link below.:roflol:
the REAL superbowl was the NFC title game as any real NFL fan knew back then.lol

the real NFL fan knew the winner of THAT game was going to be the superbowl winner.lol

Even that loud mouth seahawks player-forget his name at the moment, said he thought the real superbowl was played against the niners.lol

Well, I wrote that over 18 months ago. I dunno... the Broncos have a shot, but I'm still worried about Peyton Manning's health. Some of our new guys looked pretty good in the pre-season game last week. Way back in 2013, I was expecting that San Francisco was going to beat the snot out of Seattle. It didn't happen. I miss the Ravens when they were great. I miss the Broncos when they were great. I miss Denver before it turned into a great big gigantic hyperliberal pile of (*)(*)(*)(*). I miss the United States before half our population turned into a bunch of welfare-sucks. I miss a lot of things....

You REALLY should have read that link of mine on WHY i knew way back then it was just plain foolish to think the donkeys with peyton "mr panic mode in big games." would win that game.actually it would have done no good for you to read it because unlike me,YOU were thinking with your heart and not with your mind.:roflol:

many people like you back then i tried to explain this to but it just went through one ear and out the other and i have no doubt it would with you as well.lol

I said back then-they will just have to wait and see for themselves because their clearly not listening.

the hawks would have repeated again against the cheatriots had they not had a decimated secondary that was playing hurt.you saw what they were capable of doing against the donkeys when they are healthy, the highest scoring offense in NFL history.

and im not a hawks fan as you can tell by my Rams thread.lol

oh and the donkeys will never win the superbowl with panic mode manning at QB.its time for elway to face that fact and move on and start thinking with his mind instead of his friendship with manning.lol

i was just as guilty as you are of thinking with my heart instead of my mind in the broncos superbowl game against the redskins back when I liked the Broncos.always liked Elway.

I made the same mistake,I figured there was no way the donkeys would lose that game, thought it was going to be a blowout.like you i ignored the facts like Lynn Dawson saying the redskins were far too physical for the donkeys to handle.I just brushed it off and said-yeah whatever Lynn,Lynn just hates the donkeys because he is a chief.

But that wasnt the case though. He was being objective thinking with his mind and not his heart.I wasnt.

    I was this time though.lol

there was no doubt in my mind back then as i said, the winner of the NFC title game would win the superbowl,my only worry was if they would beat the niners since they were physical like them.lol.

    Great call on the OP.

I hope medical services were not needed after the game.

But that was then and this is now.

The Broncos spanked the Seahawk reserves and wanna b's by dos last Friday in a no-count affair at the CLink.

It was obvious that the team from Denver came out with their ears pinned back. Still butthurt from two years ago much?

It was clear that most of the Hawk #1's didn't play so obviously winning was not what Carroll and his coaches were there for.

I don't care if it is Denver or New Eggland in SB 50 representing the weak sister AFC.

If Chancellor shows up with the rest of the LOB and we can train up a decent O-Line the Hawks will dance into the SB this season.

    Two words. Jimmy Graham.
