5 year old actress gets death threats over gay characters on her show-

How is reflecting reality (that families headed by same-sex couples EXIST) bringing sexuality into a children's show any more than portraying opposite sex families is? They aren't showing them having sex FFS.

Further proof that in the homophobic mind anything to do with gay people or their families is about sex.

 

Saying its wrongs and then saying that the gays push boundaries and thus egg on and ask for this kind of treatment...is in essence justifying it.

Either its wrong or its justified. You can't make both statements at the same time and save face.

Portraying a realistic gay couple having a family is not pushing an agenda. Its reality.

I'm pretty sure the video is staged. Anyways, calling a person with autism mentally challenged is pretty offensive, and linking to a site that treats it as an illness to be cured doesn't help.

To stay on topic, I believe the anonymity of the internet has bred this type of behavior. Of course people think this way, even about children that young, but the anonymity of the internet gives them an outlet where they feel comfortable saying it without repercussions. I hope they find out who did it, and prosecute him to the fullest extent.

 

You can call them special if you want. They face alot of challenges. My wife has been working with Autistic kids for years. SIB is pretty common which is why i pointed it out. Disgusting that someone would call it a "nerd fit" with no idea if that kid is disabled in any way.

Shame that you have to go back so many decades to find anything that GOP has done that is minority-friendly.

Democrats have been fighting for the rights of minorities since before neoconservativism tried to marginalize them even more. It continues with immigration reform, same-sex marriage, the rights of women, and many other ground-breaking social issues that the Democrats will go down in history for.

 

Have you seen the numbers of black unemployment? Have you seen that 5 years after signing the Lily Ledbetter Fair Pay Act that women still make less? You guys are doing a bang up job...

Fooling the American voters into believing that won't be so easy. Minorities know who is proposing bills and who is voting for and against them.

I remember that clip from a while ago. Hilarious! I think conservatives have a similar reaction whenever a TV show has homosexual characters that are reflective of actual people and not a stereotype.

d. The show was cancelled long before this. It's final episode is this month.
