What's the Christian argument against rock music?

Ok, I've asked this question many times, maybe not to you, but to other like minded individuals, what "proof" would suffice that there is a God?

Anything of a physical nature that can be examined and verified.
Anything not completely based on opinion.

Ok, so do you have any examples of anything? Many theist would sight many things as proof, and they would be explained away. So what I'm looking for here is specifics.

 

There are no examples, therefor no possible specifics...that is pretty much the point.

No one who believes in any God will ever be able to provide something meeting these very simple and basic criteria....thus God does not exist outside of the human mind.

But if the spirit or supernatural worlds were more widely known about or someone from said worlds communicated to us, that would be a start.

 

Sure....they "Could" be. Most things are possible to one degree or another.

Probability must also be considered however, and both the supernatural and a deity are extremely unlikely. There is also the matter of evidence, and in this they both have nothing.

There is absolutely no question that can be answered with a supernatural explanation in any meaningful way.

Actually, Rock also had roots in Gospel. Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins even Johnny Cash all were hugely influenced by Gospel.

I have thought of that exact same question and here is what I concluded.

Let's say....just for Ha...Ha's....that there indeed existed an all powerful entity that created the Universe and all beings and life within it and such an Entity created the Universe and all Life through the natural processes of Quantum Evolution and Biological Evolution.

So....I am alive and sentient and one day I am watching a Football Game and out of nowhere some Guy pops up sitting in the chair next to mine after the Patriot's scored a Touchdown and this Entity say's to me....Gronk made a great move to get himself open for Brady's TD pass!

So...I am both astonished and as well I agree with this Entity and let's say this Entity comes in the form of an Elderly Bearded Man....just like some of the Old Art pictures what a GOD would look like.

I ask this entity...So...who are you?

The Entity say's...I am GOD.

I say....OK....PROVE IT!!

So...this entity takes me on a journey through time and space and we come back to my living room and we are both sitting down and this entity asks me...Satisfied?

I reply....Actually...NO.

The Entity say's...Of course....I am all knowing and all seeing.

I say....they you should KNOW what my question will now be?

The entity say's...Yes. You are wondering if I am what I say I am or if instead I am simply a very advanced Life Form existing very much in the manner of Q....that character who is omnipotent on Star Trek NG...right?

I say...Right! How do I know you are simply just a very advanced Life Form? And then I say....I will tell you what....perhaps YOU could explain the difference to me even if in fact you created all the Universe or Perhaps Multiverse and all life within....that you are STILL just simply an extremely advanced Life Form or Entity?

The Entity looks at me and say's...I was afraid you would ask me that as I CANNOT tell you such a difference as in essence....even a GOD....is simply at it's base definition a Highly Advanced Life Form capable of Matter/Energy Conversion and Time manipulation.

So....the Entity say's to me...I guess it all depends upon what YOU PERSONALLY chose to believe.

I say....I have ALWAYS understood this....and I have to ask you a question....WHY....would a Entity or perhaps a GOD...if that is what you would rather be called....Why would a GOD need people to worship a GOD or even believe in a GOD in order for upon a persons death...IF there is such thing as a Heaven or Afterlife or Hell....why would worship or belief in a GOD be the determining factor of whether a person can exist in some Spiritual Form after death?

At that point such an Entity or GOD if you will would look at me....make the..."COME CLOSER"....index finger pull movement and look around to make sure no one else but this Entity and I could hear and it would say...."Don't tell anyone this but I have always wondered where the HELL Mankind came up with that idea myself?"

This Entity or GOD would then say to me...."THINK about this....if I am all seeing and all knowing and capable of doing anything and creating any system or reality and as well I can exist as any Form of any living thing or in the form of any Intelligent Life Form or Being which exist in Billions throughout the Universe just to experience WHAT IT IS LIKE to live as such a being....if I can do all that and more....DO YOU REALLY THINK I WOULD WASTE TIME OR CARE OR NEED PEOPLE PRAYING TO ME!!???

I would then look at GOD and say...."Your Right....HELL NO!"

GOD would then say...."EXACTLY...HELL NO!"

Then GOD would say...."Hey? Do you have the TIVO on because I missed the last 10 plays and I want it to be a surprise so I will not look back...so could you bring us back to the kickoff after the Patriots Touchdown?"

I would then say..."Sure!"

GOD would then say..."Hey! Don't be such a Bogart....pass the Nachos!!"

First of all I was talking about the absolute STUPIDITY of what was in that LINK that I quoted from.

I do not think all Christian Groups are Stupid.

Secondly 99% of the time Bands PR Agents go out of their way to build an aura around their bands being Demonic, Satanic, Wiccan or practitioners of Witchcraft.

Since none of these things actually exists....yeah...anyone who believes a Band that is making Millions of Dollars is interested in any other thing than making money is STUPID!!!

It's all for public consumption and as anyone knows for a BAND....Bad press is very often better than Good press.

First of all the current created form of Intelligent Design is neither intelligent nor is there any evidence of a design.

For you to have even used Occam's Razor to make any point in this instance Occam's Razor would NOT favor your belief of an Existing GOD.
