To my knowledge, they only pulled over people breaking the law. People complained that many Hispanics were stopped for minor violations, like broken or no tail or stop light, or cracked windshield and that very well could be true. But I know of none who were stopped just because they were Hispanic. I know Obama once said under Arizona 1070 law he could be stopped walking to the store for ice cream if he were Hispanic and that just isn't true. He would have to break the law somehow.

We have a lot of illegals that stand across the street from Home Depot looking for work but officers are not allowed to touch them unless they break the law and that was even before 1070. Now if the USSC felt stopping Hispanics for minor violations was targeting Hispanics, they are right, but they broke the law.

People like to call Arizona a racist state, but have no idea of what we go through here with illegals. At one time, we had the largest amount of stolen cars. They were in Mexico before most people got off work and found out they were gone. We are still number one in human trafficing. Many people here have steel security doors on our homes because of the many break in's and Obama hasrefused to allow officers to arrest illegals unless they commit a crime. I guess he doesn't consider stealing some one's Social Security number to get a job a crime. He says our border's are secure, but I can show you a video of cameras put up near the border where thousands come across every day and not a border patrol in sight. They trash the National Park and warning signs are put up by the government it's not safe to go in it. We have signs on some of our highways not to stop for fear of being attacked and they wonder why we want the government to do something.

If you know any law officers, you know then that its a simple matter to find SOME form of supposed violation. In IL now, it could be just as simple as "I THOUGHT I saw his cell phone IN HIS HAND" ( Its illegal now to drive in IL and have a cell phone in your hand at any point while driving... even if you arent using the phone. say. changing music or something )

even if thats not the case, all he has to do is say that is what he THOUGHT he saw, and upon pulling me over, found no violation. But, while im pulled over, lets check all these other things as well.

    See what I mean?

Well, how does one know they are illegal if they have not commited a crime already to come to the attention of law enforcement to deport them? You cant just look at a mexican and "know" they are an illegal alien. I am sure that "obama " ( because I am sure he precides over deportation cases personally. :) ) would have no problem deporting an illegal who was caught comitting a crime. And the includes a stolen social security number. And dont pretend like Obama is the first and only president to not care about the illegal immigrant problem. That has a history of going far back on BOTH sides of the isle. The neglect of our border security and imigration laws are indeed one of the few bi partisan things we have managed to accomplish.

Dont get me wrong, I am not against deporting illegals. Although I think its a pipe dream to ever think you are going to fix the problem until some very basic things happen, such as punishing EMPLOYERS who hire illegals. Better actual border security. Just to name a couple.

For the record, I agree with you that immigration is a problem. Rounding up Hispanics that are here legally, work and pay their taxes isn't the way to go about it though.

Glad you were able to get that off of your chest

Like I said, I agree that Immigration is a problem .These people basically steal jobs, then send the money back to Mexico. They aren't paying Federal income taxes (no state Income Taxes here in Arizona) and they are a huge burden. The WORLD would be a much better place if people started actually trying to fix the mess in their own backyard instead of moving because the grass seems greener. Thats my problem with immigration period, but when you add in the fact that people are causing a huge burden to Arizona's already crappy economy, well there you have it.

Something in your water supply there got the populace gone crazy. I bet you drink bottled water from out of state? Lithium, Oregon is the mellowest town in the USA, because it is in their water.

I think a tip off when was Jan Brewer announced that conception occurs two weeks before copulation. That is when I would have packed my bags!! lol

Then if you oppose laws that try to do something about illegal immigration, don't complain about illegal immigration. Just be glad these undocumented Americans left a few McJobs for citizens.

Anyway I thought you went to Ghana or someplace? Why worry about Arizona? Aren't you leaving the US in the rear view mirror?

You're focused on a narrow piece of what the OP said. . .and do not address at all the rest of his comment!
OPEN YOUR MIND! And everything is not President Obama's fault!
Can you say that there were less illegal immigrants under Bush? DUH!
