I use youtube for a lot of do it yourself stuff. I even watch some on things I already know how to do just in case I pick up some new handy tip.
Good instructions for that particular brand and type of faucet. However there are thousands of brands, styles and types of faucets. Nowadays, all of them are flimsy and poorly made. (Probably made by unionized monks in Mongolia.) It seems the new normal is to just let the damn things drip and not worry about it. In general, the cost of city water is about $.0025 per gallon (one fourth of a penny). If a leaky faucet wastes as much as five gallons a day (about as much as one commode flush), it will add about 10 -12 dollars a year to your water bill. It's not worth the trouble and time to bother to fix it.
Good vid. I just changed a shower valve with the same type configuration. BTW I'd recommend using a strap wrench instead of a pipe wrench because a strap wrench won't scar the finish.
It's 9 minutes long. Does it eventually get funny or is it really just 9 minutes of the guy explaining how to fix a sink?
