opinion poll: is the obama administration corrupt ?

To your simple, straightforward question, my equally simple, straightforward reply, "Of COURSE the Obama regime is corrupt!" One word, one example: Solyndra! And there are many, many more....

Oh, and even though posters in this thread have morphed the poll question to be one of "which administration is/was MOST corrupt", I offer this reply to the modified question -- the combined regimes of Franklin Delano Roosevelt! His socialist mangling and manipulation of government gave us the foundation for nearly every economic and socialist cancer we have in the country today.

every Administration since at least Reagen has has corruption issues as has the house and senate. It's become politically acceptable to be corrupt in some way, usually through money and lobbies persuading you to vote certain ways for perks. I am waiting for an administration to truly fight for the American people

 

Yes, that was my point. An incorruptible person cannot be controlled by special interests, so those interests wouldn't fund his campaign in the first place. It's like how Goldman Sachs was the top contributer to both Obama's and Romney's campaigns. Whichever one won (and Gold Sacks obviously didn't care which), he would be beholden to the people who gave him the money to run his campaign.

that's kind of every politician in the US though, it's magnified by how much power Obama has with his "pen and a phone" and his contempt for the checks and balances of the constitution.

He has trampled on the Constitution with his EOs regarding Obamacare, although I realize some "legal scholars" may say otherwise. He is not allowing the Congress to do their job.

He lied about Benghazi and Obamacare to allow himself to be re-elected, and he deserves impeachment or worse!

Of course the Obama administration is corrupt in at least some way. No government is free from it, even the ones with the most transparency have experienced corruption.

It would have been more helpful if the OP had specified what exactly he meant by corruption in the Obama administration. Is the Obama administration more corrupt than one of a past president? Is Obama's administration the most corrupt administration? Even asking how corrupt Obama's administration has been overall would be more productive than asking if Obama's administration is corrupt. The way the question is asked, any rational person (as well as anyone who hates Obama) would say yes

 

I didn't really want to go into Obama's administration being more or less corrupt than others. That wasn't the question that the OP asks. I just wanted to point out that everyone who voted no in this poll is stupid.

Congress could do their job, if they wanted to, but the GOP portion of congress considers it their job to insure that the country fails while Obama is president.

yes, but there's been corruption in every administration. The amount that is actually related to the President is almost always minimal, and there may be a little bit more 'real' (<per se) corruption tied to Obama than recent Presidents. Clinton's personal corruption was really little more than sexual relations, Bush 2 was actually pretty much impeccable. The only President personally tied to more corruption than Obama in the last 30 years, imo, was Reagan.

Yes of course it is corrupt. The entire Government is and it doesn't seem to matter who is president.
Look up the Trans Pacific Partnership, Cispa and the Sopa act, and especially Prism. Look at they do to all these reports of police brutality on innocent people.
They do nothing.

It's not only the government. Corruption involves all institutions, from the churches to Wall Street. We just can't make enough laws fast enough.
