Folks wonder why others consider some of the tea partiers to be racists. This would be an excellent example of why.

Kudos to the GOP for resoundingly rejecting this clown and barring him from their events.

So apparently this Turiano fellow is claiming the GOP does not want him around because he claims the moniker of a tea partier. The GOP, rightfully, is citing his rather disturbing racist vitriol. Hence the connection between the racist portion and the tea party portion.

    A couple of points here.

First, I don't think that racism is rampant int eh tea party movement. I do think there are elements, folks, within the movement such as this clown who are overt racists, and lacking any organization the tea party can not remove them from their grou.

Second, not that this fellow is also suggesting absolutely shredding the Constitution in order of mass round ups of folks and expelling them, including citizens, from the country for simply being in the country.

GOP congressional candidate Drew Turiano has been branded a racist by the Yellowstone County Republican Party and turned away from the group’s key political event.

“We asked Mr. Turiano not to attend our event because we have no intention of allowing him a platform to spread hate and intolerance,” said Jennifer Owen, Yellowstone County Republican chairwoman. “There is simply no place for racism in this party.”

All major Republican candidates for statewide office, other than Turiano, will get a chance to speak Saturday at the Lincoln-Reagan Day Dinner, an event expected to draw 300 people.

A Helena Republican, Turiano last week launched his campaign to replace U.S. Rep. Steve Daines. Daines is seeking the Republican nomination to fill the U.S. Senate seat vacated last month by Democrat Max Baucus.

Turiano told The Gazette he was being turned away from the dinner because he’s a self-described member of the Tea Party, a group he believes mainstream Republicans are trying to purge from elections.

Turiano said Owen may have been offended by his support for “Operation Wetback,” a proposal to round up and deport all illegal aliens and their American-born children. Turiano called for the operation while announcing his candidacy.

He also voiced concern that in coming decades white Americans will become a small minority and possibly be exterminated by the nonwhite majority.

“When white America is about 10 percent of the population in about 50 years, like the white population in South Africa is today, isn’t it possible for a Louis Farrakhan-type demagogue to not only easily become the leader of America, but then once in power, might he not also attempt to exterminate white America like the current black president of South Africa, Jacob Zuma, is attempting to exterminate white South Africans according to the organization Genocide Watch?” Turiano asked.

The candidate suggested the United States grant asylum to white South Africans, but suggested that wouldn’t happen because the immigrants might vote for conservative candidates.

“There’s nothing racist about it,” Turiano told The Gazette. “It’s a legitimate discourse that’s happening right now among conservatives.”

Owen said the Yellowstone County Republican Party was not turning away members of the Tea Party, as Turiano suggested.

Bowen Greenwood, Montana GOP executive director, said “ever since Mr. Turiano chose to launch his campaign with an offensive racial epithet, many Republicans have made the choice not to associate with him. Our party has a long tradition of standing against racism.”

Turiano said the Yellowstone County Republicans were the only ones to turn him away.

Looks like there is still some hope for the GOP, the sooner the GOP shows the Tea Party bunch the door the better. If the Tea Party bunch think their message is so well recieved then they should form their own Party and try and see how they do in elections and stop hiding behind a Republican title.

He's exactly right, and excluding his participation is a great example of why the GOP is really not that much better than Democrats on this issue. The difference is that the GOP has nothing at all to gain by embracing the concept of a non-white America, whereas the Democrat Party can at least look forward to remaining in power indefinitely.

A former European-English Empire has been reduced to barely standing on one knee, and neither the Elephant nor the Donkey will revive the Homeland.

Oh man, that's so funny. You're saying, like, "Why is calling him Hitler and saying Impeach him" radical, right? Like, duh, we should do that, he's totally right. Man, you're so cool. Your laid back, simplistic, degrading humor gives you such a soft, razor edge that is so needed today.

That's sarcasm. It looked like you needed a lesson on how to do it. What a retarded implication. Wise. up.

What a disjointed rambling mess of a post this was. You should feel bad about it.

Says the man who has to tip toe around calling Obama a fascist. Man up or shut up. One of us should feel bad about our posts, but I at least have the balls to say what's on my mind. I don't need to wring my hands about it.

ETA: My post was also mocking your high school attitude towards commentary on Obama. My son says stuff like that, then again, at 11 I would assume he may have a higher level of education, cause he does it better.

I have no idea what you're even talking about. How as I tip-toeing around calling Obama a fascist? Are you even posting in the right thread? You appear confused.

I'd say the substance of your last two posts gives me reason to question whether you're in a position to criticize anyone's level of education, but that's just based on these two posts.
Do you have anything of substance to contribute? If not, I'll pass on your obvious trolling attempt. Thanks for the offer, I'm just not interested.

BTW, these kind of Tea Party nutjobs running for GOP nominations...losing elections and ruining the Republcian brand...

is why the RNC and the Republican Leadership are finally cracking down in the 2014 midterms (and beyond).

No more Christine O'Donnells or Richard Mourdocks. The RNC is going to the Big Donors and saying "We need cash to crush these Tea Party primary challengers" (See Mitch McConnell's "crush the TP" line last week)..."Or the Party will implode and you'll have to beg for scraps from the Democrats."

    and the Donors...are poneying up.

The time for Tea Party silliness and insanity is over....catch Reince Priebus in a private "off-air" moment....and he'll tell you.

Interesting leap, given the context :

I don't think Michelle Malkin fits in with the parameters of the discussion so far.

The problems in America today are going to need real solutions, not politically correct ones. Having the Republican party as a slightly less Marxist version of the Democrat party does nothing. They're either willing to accept that or not.

Personally I see the future of America as just another 3rd world Hispanic country with a small elite group of white liberals ruling the minority masses from on top of a hill. Hopefully there will be some countries in Europe that can do what needs to be done to preserve Western civilization that can give people in this country a place to go.

Michelle's parents were NOT citizens when she was born in the US. Given the guy in Montana wants to kick out even AMERICAN-BORN people who were born to parents who weren't citizens at the time of their birth....that WOULD include Malkin.

BTW, do you give a pass to Filipinos that you don't give to blacks and Latinos? Especially if they are rightwingers?

    - - - Updated - - -

Would you mind terribly....listing all of your solutions?

Birthright citizenship should end. Today. There's a reason why there are only two industrialized countries in the world stupid enough to keep that going.

I just gave one. That'll be enough for progressives to work on for at least a week.

Perfect, I will absolutely apologize, whole heartedly if you can explain what you meant when you replied to the following:

    To which you replied:

Logical deduction would be that you are saying that should someone say impeach Obama and give him a Hitler moustache that it would not be logical. Is that not what you meant? Are you implying something different? If so, maybe it not my ability to comprehend, but your ability to properly express yourself?

I don't care what you feel it gives you reason to question. I am secure in myself and my ability to decipher what others are implying. I have a lot to contribute, I just don't do it much here. If it's one thing I've learned about this forum, facts and evidence aren't even looked at, much less debated. There are other forums for reasonable conversation.

Then you WOULD deport Michelle Malkin?

No, I'd like to hear them ALL. Especially if you have some final solution if some of them don't work.

Regardless of your feelings about one race or another, if the supposed goal of the Tea Party is to respect the Constitution, Turiano is a terrible role model for that.

Rounding up illegal immigrants is one thing, but he mentions their American-born children.

Like it or not, if you're born here, you're an American citizen. You have rights that the government shouldn't be allowed to trample.

Turiano would have been much smarter to suggest amending the Constitution when it comes to citizenship by birth. Rounding up citizens just because of their parents is a statist idea, not a Constitutional one.

Thank you in advance for making the spiking of this volleyball so easy for me:

Notice how I said "what was so radical about what he said?" The same logical deduction that you apparently employed would cause you to wonder why I would say this, when the person I was responding to talked about what "Ms Kesha Rogers" did (Hitler mustache, etc). After thinking about it for a bit, you might wonder if I was referring to the other subject in the post, which is the "Rep radical", and the topic of this thread.

I would guess your confidence just took a knock. Here's to better luck on the other forums.
