Charlotte Mayor Patrick Cannon, a 47-year-old Democrat, is facing theft and bribery charges, U.S. Attorney Anne Tompkins said. Cannon is accused of soliciting and accepting bribes from undercover FBI agents posing as real estate developers who wanted to do business in Charlotte. According to the U.S. attorney's office, the FBI first learned that he may have been involved in illegal activities years ago and started an investigation in 2010. Just another Democrat doing what democrats do when they get into positions of power.

"Charlotte, NC Mayor Patrick Cannon (D.) arrested on theft and bribery charges" He'll go before an Obama court; be found innocent; sue the city for slander; and be awarded 50 million dollars in damages. He probably had it planned that way.
Should not be a problem........the classic pattern will unfold.....he will go back go 'his people' on Sunday's at church.......ask for foregiveness with the preacher leading the choir in an old hym.....he will blame it all on the evil White man.......allege that one of the US Attorneys called him the 'n' word.......and be reelected with 99 percent of the black vote.......see Alcee Hastings and he mayor of D.C. As in most 'white-collar' crimes this will ultimately be about a mistress on the side who he had to fund through money his wife could not trace. He will dump the mistress cause dumping the wife would reveal more secrets. Cannon will then take a plea agreement, with some minimum 'country club prison' time. The wife will 'stand by him' as long as she can shop at Tiffanny's and Neiman Marcus every weekend and keep her 'status'. He will come back in a couple of years and become mayor again. Start the process over again....."Mr. President we need $400 million dollars down here in Charlotte for come community organizers and midnight basketball"......"No problem, Bob, I was once a community organizer myself....I know how the game works.....and congratulations on your recent release form prison and re-election."
