Lets say Obama took over everything and became a dictator. He has control over all laws and can do whatever he wants.

Obama makes an order that says everyone who voted for him gets a free house in Hawaii. Everyone who voted against him gets sent to prison for life and gets tortured.

What does that make Obama? A monster. Evil. One of the worst human beings of all history.

Now replace "life" with "eternity", "prison" with "hell", "Hawaii" with "heaven", "voted for" with "believed in" and "Obama" with "God".

And you've essentially got the God of the bible.

God makes an order that says everyone who believed in him gets sent to heaven while everyone else gets sent to hell for all eternity and gets tortured.

Why is it evil for a human to do it but good for God to do it?

Lets pretend Michelle is the Virgin Mary...no, better yet... Hillary.

    And Bill is God.

And she said, "God, you sure have been going thru a lot of cigars lately... is there something I should know?"

Does this scenario point how God really can't be trusted?

This is where the TaoofBill makes the distinction between god and President Obama. You call Bill Clinton god in your example. So the two examples have exactly nothing to do with each other.
Can you see how you have built a false equivalency, a strawman that is a complete irrelevancy?

I am not super religious, but I do not remember Christ ever saying people that do not believe in him go to hell....I do remember if you wanted to be saved from yours sins then have faith. I do not remember him saying if you believed in another faith that you would be damned to hell.

I could be wrong, but the Bible [If you are using that, was written by man.] It was thought to be inspired by God, now nothing is saying they got all these ''inspirations'' correctly. Remember even Religious scholars have a very difficult time with it.

I do understand what you’re saying, But what MANY believe isn't ALL true, even if they were taught this by their ministers. First I’ll explain the difference between human governments vs Heavenly government. Starting with humans, mankind as a government can't direct himself , and though for now, Jehovah God ,(Exo. 6:3), allowed it. And his people have to respect them, NOT because the governments are something special. But because we are respecting Jehovah's and Jesus orders ,(Matt. 22:21 and Rom. 13:1,2). still, They can NEVER do a good job, because they can't even direct themselves properly. so why would they think they can direct others ,(Jer. 10:23 O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps).

This is why Jehovah God warns his people, NOT to put trust in them ,(Psa. 146 :3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help). And (Psa. 118:9 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in prince). MANY are fooled into believing the governments are for the people. But they are for SOME people, not ALL. (Eccle. 4:1 So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and behold the tears of such as were oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors there was power; but they had no comforter). Earthly governments don't even respect Jehovah God OR Jesus laws themselves, (Psa. 2:2,3 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us). Yet they order man to obey theirs, or else!).

Jehovah God NEVER plan for man to be ruled by man, This was satan's plan. Because he is the ruler of this earthly system, (1John 5:19). satan had many bible translators removed the key words, “one”, Replacing it with “in wickedness”. Taking the blame off satan and placing it only on our action. This is why soon, he WILL destroy ALL worldly governments, (Rev. 6:15-17 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?). (Rev. 13:1-4 ), the “wild beast “,which is referring to worldly governments, get's it's power from satan, NOT Jehovah God or Jesus.

Again this is why Jehovah ,through his son Jesus will soon remove ALL worldly governments ,(Dan.2:44). It's through Jehovah that man created man, NOT man alone, So he has no right to direct another man. On the other hand Jehovah God has every right. But he's NOT like those of the world, a dictator, He's a loving God who gave us free will. But he expected those he created, to obey him. Just like a parent, one can love her child and give them what they need and at times want. But they MUST obey, or there will be consequences. Jehovah NEVER created a hell fire, satan put it in man to teach it. Question, if Jehovah God was so HONEST enough to tell the first couple that they would die if they ate of a certain tree, Which DID happened in time. Are we suppose to believe that he knew he would make a hellfire or future humans and NOT tell us?

And why would his words say this ,(Rom. 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord). He didn't mean now that they're dead, they can sin anymore. He meant just what he said, death is a payment for sin. Jonah even spoke of what “hell" was ,(Jonah 2:1,2). he though he would die in what he called “HELL”, a fish body, he didn't mention demons or fire. And if demons lived in a fiery placed called hell. Why did Jesus say one is waiting for them ,(Matt. 25:41),referring to the end, he mean total destruction. Finally here ,partial quote, to the point ,(Rev.20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them...”). The dead came out of hell, YET MANY are taught the dead isn't really dead they, (since it's believe they feel pain). Hell is basically a grave, it's where a dead body is placed, Be-it before death or after. So again, Jehovah God NEVER created a “hellfire”. Satan lied once on Jehovah to the first couple, and he's doing it again to us. peace
