So 6,000,000,000 were dropped and the proven liar says 7,100,000 signed up. Net of 1,100,000. :roflol:

If someone "lost their insurance" due to it not meeting minimum requirements, those people now have REAL insurance that is actually going to cover them when they need it and not leave everyone else holding the bag when they discover the parts of the insurance they left out to "save money" were the parts they needed!

If you cannot take care of yourself, then you should not be allowed to bring others into this world to care for. That would be a place to start.

And you don't have to buy the story and there is no proof I can provide you. What was obvious to me and the other family members was her care was top notch while she was paying for it. When she became a Medicare patient, that was no longer the case. Hopefully you will never have to experience it either.

Dave, you keep repeating this and this is simply not true. My soon to be cancelled policy has lower deductibles and out of pocket expenses than most all bronze plans in my state.

    I disagree.

That reeks of totalitarian government deciding whom is worthy of breeding and whom is not.

Yeah, maybe, maybe not. Not many people like insurance or doctors when their family member dies. That does not mean the insurance or the doctor is responsible for them dying. Simple fact of life. Old people die. Not much changing that.

This has got to be one of the most ridiculous stories yet about the evils of "government healthcare"! NOTHING was "taken out of her hands"! She is NOT rewquired to sign up for medicare, there are private policies or continue to self-insure!

So why didn't she just pay for it herself and get it done? There is nothing in Medicare or Obamacare that says you cannot simply go out and pay cash for a procedure anytime, anywhere!

Or go someplace upscale and pay the difference between what Medicare reimburses and what the facility charges! No Problemo!

No that reeks of responsibility and paying your own way. We have a huge problem now because people are having kids that can't even support themselves. When you force someone else to pay for your choices that is theft.

Atta lib! To hell with her. It's her fault the govt system killed her. After all, you can't expect the govt to keep all of their promises. Can you? Your attitude is disgusting.

Well apparently you don't know what "fact"(s) and being "documented" means. Since you say it's document, and fact, but that they don't know or won't tell. Doesn't that sound REALLY stupid to you? I mean, I'm sure you don't think so, but to intelligent people reading your post it might be a different story.

Oh, I didn't read the end, I don't think you know what "reinforces my points" means either.

Says the guy who doesn't understand words mean things.

I couldn't give a (*)(*)(*)(*) bro. I am not pining for Obamacare. Since I'm a grown man with a real job I don't need to depend on the government exchange. I get health care through my job, so I don't need to battle with a bunch of right wing, fear mongers who have to live in an echo chamber designed to reinforce their own delirium that the goverment, and the president, is out to get them through an attempt to provide health care like every other first world nation. Only you and your ilk live in constant fear.

Like Obama said, get over it and shut up. It's the law, deal with it or move out of the country. Those are your options.

He's your leader too numb nuts. Unless you don't live in America, and if you don't, what the (*)(*)(*)(*) do you even care?

Deductibles and out of pocket amounts have NOTHING to do with what your policy will PAY for, and all the myriad exclusions, limitations, and pay limits the insurance companies put on that easily mean when you have a problem or a particular problem, you have a massive bill! I your policy excludes kidney dialysis, for instance, you will be looking at at least $10,000 /month when the daily consumption of aspirin or tylenol or a systemic infection takes your kidneys for a time.

The very essence of your focus SOLELY on deductible and out of pocket tells me you its likely you have done zero review of your policy's ACTUAL coverage!

When the (*)(*)(*)(*) will this 'big brother" business end? I'm not a child or a feebleminded - I need no Government telling me what good and whats not good for me!

And now - 6 mln policies were lost due to being non-compliant with Obamacare while Obamacare allegedly signed up 7mln to new policies, leading to the NET 1mln new policies. What the (*)(*)(*)(*) is here to celebrate? Hmm?

If only Barack could muster as much passion when dealing with world leaders like Putin as he displays against Republicans... maybe he wouldn't be considered such a wuss by the intl community.

Too bad he only attacks his fellow Americans.

I know this is a waste of time because I've seen your ignorance touted like a trophy around these boards on the rare occassion I actually visit here, but do you have any evidence of this? Probably not? Just hyperbole and quips? Ok. thanks.

    What an absurd answer.

Medicare is the basic plan available to seniors, and allows ALL seniors to have some healthcare coverage at a price a fraction of what private insurance charges. (About $85/month!)

But it is a MINIMAL plan, and a person is well advised to buy one of the many add-on plans that make Medicare much more comprehensive. Or buy private insurance (high high costs) and skip medicare entirely!

We get this stupid story that someone who apparently has plenty of money who had "self-insured" her whole life suddenly decides to buy Medicare, but then supposedly dies because care was too slow or low priority??? She couldn't bother to buy the addon policies for gold-plated service (addon policies, BTW, that are enormously cheaper because they only have to pay what Medicare does not pay)? She couldn't spend SOME money to get a better place in line after a lifetime of "self-insurance"?

Medicare is a BUS! But you and Junior complain that it is not delivering like a chauffeured limousine service! About $250 - $350 month addon policies will turn medicare into a limousine service, a price FAR lower than what it would cost without medicare to underlie it, so quit yer whining!!

Medicare is constantly starved by the Republicans, yet the Republicans whine and cry that it is "inadequate"!. As far as I am concerned, we could take the $100 BILLION we give away in welfare to wealthy farm corporations and apply it to make Medicare a better plan! We could take another $200 BILLION from the military budget and switch that over too!

    What an artful dodge.

The left loves to demand govt control of our HC system then cry foul when it's failure at any level is pointed out.

And please stop blaming the GOP for Medicare budgets. Your pathetic POS POTUS robbed Medicare of $720,000,000,000 to help pay for Obamacare.

Good to see you and your Dear Leader taking my advice - unleash your inner Stalinists!

BTW, when do we get the "option" of the Gulag?

He's not my leader, Stalinist plague. I'm one of you and your Dear Leader's "enemies" who needs to be silenced and deported, remember?

Sounds like Republican fences have a lot in common with Democratic goal posts. :)

45 million uninsured and Obama signed up a net 1.2 million people...

Any chance you could take away the Medicare premiums that come out of senior's SS checks? My 87 yr old dad has retiree ins from BCBS, but still has to pay Medicare every month. Makes no sense.
