Although the NSA has certainly been weakening constitutional rights here, the American system respects rights more than the Russian system.

Rights aren't about respecting the laws on the books, but . . . How come the US has been using drones to kill its own citizens in foreign lands? Isn't this a clear violation of due process, guaranteed by the Constitution? How can you claim that PRISM respected American rights? They had to hide the program to avoid its political consequences. What about the NDAA provisions for indefinite detainment incommunicado without charges? Yet another violation of our supposed guaranteed rights.

 

You would point to the Russians killed if you could. But you cant.

what would you say if you were among the dead Americans
who died at the hands of Ukrainian nationalists?

 

Have you found any evidence of killed Russians, or did you just make that up?

 

I'm saying, by comparison, our system does it better.

Granted, you could argue that the Russian system might seem more favorable in this aspect simply because Russians have fewer rights on the books -- therefore there are less rights that can be infringed upon to begin with.

 

Most of those things Putin does is propaganda. But yes Obama is weak, he not only looks weak but acts weak.
