Why FOX should be taken off air

Have you ever heard of a government that didn't rationalize protecting themselves AS protecting the people?

 

If you knew anything about the Civil War, you'd know that it has already applied. BUT, call for secession in your state, bring it to a vote, don't feel you have to blow (*)(*)(*)(*) up, and I'll support your move.

 

The driving lesson of that war is that even though states have the right to secede, the national government will use illegal force to dragoon them back into the union. Any seceding state will have to "blow (*)(*)(*)(*) up" because they won't be left to depart peacefully.

 

I've never heard of our gov't ever admitting they were protecting themselves in the first place, let alone rationalizing it as you suggest. We all know what they're doing, but strangely enough we don't hold them accountable for it.

 

BS you will. You just called for people to be HUNG for merely proposing secession...but now you say you'll support them.

I think you'd be surprised. I, for one, would be happy to see the entire Southeast pack up an go with the possible exception of Florida because I don't think it would want to go.. You can count on my support for your peaceful, democratic, secessionist movement, but I doubt you would ever allow the people of your state to vote on it.

 

If you want hate, watch MSNBC who have had to apologize several times for their blatant hate speech.

You want Fox News off the air so that the Obamaphiles can have EVERY channel spewing lies and liberal propaganda 24/7 with no alternative.

I live in Idaho. We're on the short list for secession that includes Alaska, Texas, Montana, Arizona, New Hampshire, Wyoming, and the Dakotas.

Look, I find your contempt for free speech despicable but what I find even more repulsive is your backpedaling and inability to own up to your own position, as ignorant as it may be. Your words were very clear. You stated a desire to have people killed merely for words that may come dribbling out of their mouths. There isn't much more to say on the matter. Learn to defend your enemies every once in a while fellas, I may not like what Fox News has to say on some political issues, but that doesn't mean I'm inclined to have them removed from everyone's viewing pleasure. There are plenty of other networks and TV shows who counter what Fox News has to say, that's the beauty of free speech and freedom of the press
