Structure isn't disadvantaging anyone racially. Racists with in the structure and currently the racists determined to punish White far outnumber those determined to punish minorities. Hence HR reps in the military stating in mandatory EO yearly sessions that minorties can't discriminate against Whites. Allowing lower standards for Promotion, or achievement to minorites. All of these I have directly seen and I have seen similar comments and discussions in corporate America as well. You whine about the structure, which can never be overcome unless one has the attitude and drive to do so regardless of race, and complain that the Trillions spent on wealth redistribution (an action which kills iniitiative and personal accountability) just isn't enough because the result didn't work. (Historical FACT 1) You also decry it is the fault of "White Flight" and community segretation is the fault racism instead of the very Wealth redistribution policies you espouse to justify your anger against those who told everyone that it wouldn't work in the first place often all the while leftists such as yourself scream that the only reason we are against such policies is because we are ignorant or racists. The very hostility you hold toward others seems to stem from self justification that they don't agree so they must be racists. When I asked what I owed you you tried to pull the "I am owed because others suffered" card and reparation are some how owed by me from my hardwork, not directly but indirectly because wealth redistribution is the only answer. Fact 2, 2% of the US died in a 4 year period to remove slavery from these shores. No one living today was every a slave. Did this end racism? Hardly and the real fight for civil rights began after the worst of racism 1920 (Height of lynchings in the US). Since that time there has been a concerted effort to end Jim Crow and other discriminatory practices lead by right wing of the country and opposed by the left. Then the left pulled a coup. Some of them joined the right to end this. Why because they had discoved from programs such as SSI and Welfare that if they offered money from others they could keep people dependant on the plantation system and be looked upon as saviors while by taking money from others and giving them just enough to keep them in place. That is the structure which inhibits social/monitary mobility today It isn't the same one from before 1960's. The problem now is the very structure you endorse and advocate! Why is that?

Urban exodus mixed with housing discrimination harms the tax base of the inner city. Inner city schools and students suffered. People with the means to send their children elsewhere move and do so, taking more taxes with them. Rinse and repeat. Inner cities in the rust belt are waste lands. They need outside help to be cleaned up, but no one gives a (*)(*)(*)(*). That goes for both parties and both ideologies.

 

Please do enlighten us... how do we discriminate? And please remember, this is 2014, not 1950.

 

As long as blacks perceive themselves as victims, they'll remain victims. Nobody can 'fix' their situation but them.

BTW, I have a black boss and work with several black professionals. Thx to AA, blacks with a degree can write their own ticket...while blacks with ghetto mentality will forever play the victim card to explain away their inability to thrive.

He is a Kook! Somehow "rich" people can fix a violent culture that is killing people? What he skates right by is WHY! WHY did these people flee and why do "white" people not want "black" people to live near them. I would be willing to bet that he doesn't live in what is considered a "black community". I often make a point of prefacing the word 'conservative' with 'US' because the US version of conservatism tends to be far more to the right than other nation's democratic, multi party political systems. The US version is a lot more extreme, IOW.
