Let's forget all about the Allies letting the Soviet Union have ALL of Poland and half of Europe after the war. Instead we need to view it through a microscopic sized window of your choosing, so we only see what you want us to see, and only come to the conclusion you hope we come to.

Germany's pact with the Soviet Union was political strategy aimed at ultimately destroying the U.S.S.R. and Marxism with it.
America's alliance with the Soviet Union, on the other hand, gift wrapped most of the world for Communism, aiding it in its international aims for worldwide revolution like no other in the history of the ideology.

I agree with the sentiments but not the tactics and reasonings and the justification.

Western culture is crap.

But unlike him, I don't want to destroy it, I'd just like it to be changed into something where people truly learn to respect each other and look out for one another (WITHOUT government obtrusiveness), with maximum freedom and civil rights.

It is new and shocking to the products of public school indoctrination. Schools mention that Hitler and the Germans invaded Poland and don't mention their ally, Stalin and the Soviets. It's rather like schools teaching that Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves in the U.S. and the FDR ended the Great Depression.

 

Western culture today is the Allied victory of WWII, or are we still not making the connection between the New World Order of Marxism, Corporatism and soulless materialism brought on by the Soviet/American victory? The ideological war has always been Nationalism vrs International Communism. I believe it was Rosa Luxemburg, Communist revolutionary, who astutely asked, "Which will die and which will grow?" American conservatives, American "moderates" and even American liberals have been speed bumps in this struggle, and not actual participants.

The outcome of WWII brought about the total victory of Communism. If you celebrate that victory, you're celebrating what that victory was.

You can claim it was the victory of "Christian civilization" if you want to lie, but that falls flat considering Christian civilization has since been vanquished by the very forces that won WWII.
I suppose you could call it a victory for "freedom," like all your other American wars (as told by stupid people), but that also falls flat considering the sheer number of people you put under Bolshevik slavery that lead to the systematic murder of a hundred and fifty million souls in the 20th century.

At what point do we begin to over educate kids with things that really dont matter to them anymore?

 

Invading Poland used to be a favorite German pastime, too. Both Frederick the Great and Hitler indulged.

But today, Germans are too besotted by free stuff to worry about Poland.
