And what life may that be?

    - - - Updated - - -

You may be correct on that; I just was commenting based on her right to post a photo on the internet.

Comparing them was the entire point, too bad that flew over your head.
You assume that is her situation, I have met more than a few Muslim couples and that is not something I seen occuring with any of them. Not that could not be the situation but there are more than one Christian couple where the same situation occurs, people are people and sometimes they are bad apples.

I support the woman's right to hold her gun and bible all she wants. Not gonna lie though, if I see anyone in public holding a rifle and a bible at the same time, I'm running as fast as I can in the other direction.

Really, is that why I own so many and have been shooting and even made a living maintaining them and running ranges, hmmmmmm?

Must be the same reason why I see most Cons as classless morons.

What about someone with a gun and a copy of Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth"?

I am correct on the flag being displayed incorrectly.

I might be wrong, but it looks like the flag is hanging in a window. You can see foliage in the background. If this is the case it is displayed correctly according to the window-view. Perhaps she decided to use it as her backdrop rather than removing it from the window.

EDIT: I found the actual picture. She is outside and the flag is hanging from a flag post.

She should have stood on the other side of the flag when she used it as part of her message. It makes her and the photographer look like ignorant patriots.

Only if you're being extremely nit picky. What's ignorant is comparing her to terrorists.

That's proper, the staff is projecting horizontally in front of a building, and the union of the flag is placed at the peak of the staff.

Social media is nothing but an electronic viper's pit where disturbed, hate filled people can spew the things in anonymity that they would never dare say face to face.

31 ”Simon, Simon, behold, Satan demanded to have you, that he might sift you like wheat, 32 but I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail; and when you have turned again, strengthen your brethren.” 33 And he said to him, “Lord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death.” 34 He said, “I tell you, Peter, the (*)(*)(*)(*) will not crow this day, until you three times deny that you know me.” 35 And he said to them, “When I sent you out with no purse or bag or sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “Nothing.” 35 And he said to them, “When I sent you out with no purse or bag or sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “Nothing.” 36 He said to them, “But now, let him who has a purse take it, and likewise a bag. And let him who has no sword sell his mantle and buy one. 37 For I tell you that this scripture must be fulfilled in me, ‘And he was reckoned with transgressors’; for what is written about me has its fulfilment.” 38 And they said, “Look, Lord, here are two swords.” And he said to them, “It is enough.” 39 And he came out, and went, as was his custom, to the Mount of Olives; and the disciples followed him.

Respecting the flag is not being nit picky. There are historical reasons why the flag is flown the way it should be.

Yes, but the flag was being used as a defining symbol in the picture and not just something that appeared in the background. It was there for a reason. If she had been standing a good distance away from the flag I would agree with you.

The flag is being displayed properly. It is being flow the way it should be. She stood in front of a properly displayed flag. You're providing nothing more than a distraction from the subject at hand in order to claim that she is somehow unpatriotic. Why don't you address the comparison made in the OP. That's what this thread is about.

Her husband is in the service, I don't think she is or ever was. The majority of the citizenry have no idea about flag etiquette. I've seen flags, displayed unlit at night, and not taken in during rain (all weather nylon flags are permissible however). As long as someone isn't burning it, I suppose it's the thought that counts.

    1. She's the American Taliban.
    2. Jesus never taught God and Country, just God. Rome, and the business of Rome, he never bothered with.
    3. He who lives by the sword dies by the sword. Also in the Bible which is not known as the America Bible BTW.
    4. There is no such thing as a Christian Soldier, if you carry a gun that is. The Christians refused to serve Rome as soldiers since Jesus said, among other things, Pray for your enemies not shoot them.
    5. She's just another ignorant American who sees no problem trying to say that God is on her side, which is utter BS since God doesn't have a side! I'm sure she then went off to get lunch at Chick-Fil-A since making a profit turning out crappy fast food is doing God's work, at least she thinks so I bet.

And the picture of her next to the radical Islamist, peas in a pod, the same sick mentality and the very same evil.

    Matthew 26:

…51And behold, one of those who were with Jesus reached and drew out his sword, and struck the slave of the high priest and cut off his ear. 52Then Jesus said to him, "Put your sword back into its place; for all those who take up the sword shall perish by the sword. 53"Or do you think that I cannot appeal to My Father, and He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve legions of angels?…

Those who falsely believe that they need both God and Guns, lack any real faith, in God.

If it was just a picture of the flag I would agree with you.

    pure poppycock.....

The one on the left is simply demonstrating her rights, and the other one has sworn to make you convert or die.

Feel free to provide a source that American Christians forced people to convert or die.

I would imagine I could actually, at least people in America dealing with Native Americans, but having a real memory, like most adults, I am speaking of the history of religions, in this case Christianity, which has plenty of blood on its hands.

The Mentality is the same even if the actions are different. The both think that Flags, Holy Books, and Guns go together, and they never should, ever.
