Some indirect family members of mine died on that airplane, it makes me very sad. Although i am pro-russian in the sense that i believe that East Ukraine deserves to hold a referendum to decide their own future on whether they want to be part of Russia or not. The fact that people can kill each other over having a different opinion goes too far in my opinion. I am pretty baffled that pro-Russians :salute: couldn't distinguish a military airplane from a regular airplane, and i am baffled that regular flights were still being continued above such an area. I think that because it was safe to do so for many decades international airports saw no direct threat for passenger airline jets to do so. Ironically, since it was a Malaysian airline airplane one of the passengers posted a picture.

In dutch the : Mocht hij verdwijnen, zo ziet ie eruit.
translated: In the case it disappears, it looks like this.

Posted as a joke, and now the guy who posted that is dead. :blankstare:

What i also think is apalling is the reaction of the militant who stopped the OSCE saying "you are only here because there are foreigners dead" whilst being intimidating and pretending to be almighty and forcing the researchers to walk to the crash site.

Its not "ONLY" its not only actually a HUGE disgrace to shoot down a innocent civillian airliner with worldwide nationalities, which really shows you have no military professionalism not being able to distinguish between military and civilian airlines, it also shows the incredible amount of tunnel vision and living inside of a box kind of thinking that's going on in that area. -Sigh- , i don't think they realise how much this will NOT be appreciated by the rest of the civilized world. The seperatists really cut in their own fingers by making a huge mistake like this. I personally don't see how this will bring them any further to their goals.

Military wise this was a tactical mistake, and they should apologize to the civilized world for this mistake. I can understand that they are at war, and Western Europe also should apologize to the victims for sending a civilized airplane into war territory, what the hell is everyone thinking? I cannot fathom the reasoning behind this. This is so messy, and requires some decent cleaning in moral and tactical strategy.:wall:
