It is simplistic isn't it but still way to intelligent for some to understand but one day, after all the dinosaurs are dead we may just get a fairer, cleaner more humane society that puts people before profit. What I find more embarrassing is people to simple to understand simple issues.
It`s simplistic to fall for the greens` spiel. Childish. Their "policies" are childish, and their posturing as if they`re the only ones interested in conservation is delusional.
Yea, until he found out the true depth of the mess the ALP left, priority number is to fix the economy, not keep his image clean. Its the difference between the ALP and the LNP... the ALP puts its image above all else and makes the popular decisions no matter what, but the LNP will make the hard calls and take the resultant falls for it, if they think its for the betterment of the nation. I forgot to offer you a sick bag LOL, but its generally true. By contrast Gillard lied because that is just the way she roll's as an ex-Union lacky lawyer.
You mean like this? http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-07-14/xenophon-angry-aussie-boots-bypassed-for-defence-deal/5594030 http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-08-07/amwu-protests-gorgon-foreign-labour-hire-chevron/5654314 Not bad is it, this parasite squanders tax payers money like he's a drunken sailor, but forces our unemployed into indentured servants picking weeds out of gardens for the crime of being unemployed.
Your exactly right. I have spent a lot of time lately talking to my father. He is 98 and as sharp as a tack, he knows off by heart around a hundred telephone numbers, from local businesses, medical services, friends, peers an family. At Christmas we addressed around 50 cards to cousins and such. He gave me every address from his head so the is no dementia there. Now dad has seen a lot of politicians and a lot of governments come and go. At the last election he voted against the LNP/Nat coalition for the first time ever. I have never had in depth debates with my father, rather with him I always listen to his view, used it as a kind of data collection, getting an unbiased, ordinary Australia view. Now he brags, "I'm glad I never voted for the fool"
Seeing the same thing happening in communities everywhere - staunch, lifelong LNP supporters are turning away from Abbott & his clowns in droves.
Many wise elderly Australians like your father probably always saw the ? over Abbotts head, that many failed to see, and he voted accordingly. My uncle who always voted for Nats, didn't vote for them either at the last election. When asked why, he would just say - Abbot's "not right in the head" and we don't that as a Prime Minister.
Here in QLD Campbell Newman is the one leaving such a bad taste in everyone's mouth it will take a long time for the LNP to recover
