The US had no way to prop up Mubarak, Saddam or Ghaddafi.

 

Unlike the IS, the Assad Regime did not and does not persecute those of a differing faith by giving them the options of fleeing, conversion, paying extra tax or death.

The Saudis hate the MB and did not back those guys... That's the main reason that KSA has been at loggerheads with Qatar for a few years.

Qatar wants a gas pipeline thru Syria and didn't get it.. That's their reason for wanting Assad gone.
