    Do you know what I mean? Bands that recorded good records but
    when you talked about them people would say, "who?" or "Huh?"

    Here is a list of some I listened to in the 60's and 70's.

    Blodwyn Pig! Mick Abrams was the guitarist for Jethro Tull then
    went on to form Blodwyn Pig. What does Blodwyn mean? I don't
    know that I ever knew.

    Not heard of Steamhammer or Georgia Satterlites. I don't think of Uriah
    Heep being obscure since they had some hits and so many lps. Easy
    Livin', Stealin' and The Wizard.

    The Flock!

    Jerry Goodman was their violinist that went on to play in John
    McLaughlin's Mahavishnu Orchestra.

    The Satellites are hardly obscure. They are a one hit wonder with "Keep your hands to yourself" which made it to #5.

    Who? I do not mean THE Who. I mean who the heck is silver apples? I grew up in in late fifties and sixties. Never heard of them.

    Paul Revere, Sam and the Ventures were hit groups. I wouldn't think
    of them as obscure. But the other 5? Never heard of them. But if they're
    after the 80's I don't count unless a group made the news.
