As I said, the only inequality that has remained since the Civil Rights Act of 1964 is what you hyperlibs refer to as "affirmative action" (REVERSE DISCRIMINATION). And, predictably, you had absolutely NOTHING to say about that....

It's hard to discuss the issue of Black angst with someone who cannot, and will not, take an objective view of reality, and facts. The Federal Government of the United States does not OWE anyone, Black, White, or any other color, anything but "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness", and the guarantees and protections provided by the Constitution of the United States. What am I doing...I'm trying to have a rational discussion with someone who doesn't even know the difference between there, their, and they're, evidently.... What passes for "education" in the public school combines has produced two generations like this, and they're allowed to vote!

Not all Blacks are a bunch of criminal, strong-arm thugs... if you want to read "their" histories, examine those of Dr. Ben Carson, Dr. Condoleezza Rice, Dr. Alan Keyes, and Mr. Herman Cain. These are just four distinguished, honorable Black people who have been a lot more successful in life than either you or me. None of them ever staged a strong-arm robbery and then stormed out into the street to threaten every one there. And, please, if only for your own sake, learn the difference between words and how they should be used and spelled when you are expressing yourself.

Hire the best players! The problem is that scenario is not the same as hiring police officers. Hiring police officers is sheer politics, Favoritism, Nepotism, you name it. In Basketball, the owners aren't interested in Nepotism or politics. They're interested in getting the most talented players so they can win championships which yields more revenue. It's about the money. In this case those NBA owners said you can shove your politics and your Nepotism. That's the difference. Their not interested in black or white. Just talent!

 

I was just watching Don Lemon on CNN interviewing a black fellow, who looked to be in his early 20's. The fellow could not articulate himself. I really wondered what employer would take him on for any job requiring any degree of analysis or public interaction. His vocabulary seemed limited, his diction was garbled and he put no effort to organize his thoughts in speaking. Even his use of proper tenses was off the mark. I have worked with people who had immigrated from the Orient with only two years here who could express themselves better. My grandfather, whose family came from Ireland, and who only attained eighth grade up in Canada, spoke far more clearly and logically.

It seems that the Liberal push to slack education standards have led America to the sad situation in which we have all kinds of basically third world pockets within our country. It won't get better until black families foster a better sense of ambition and discipline among their progeny.

 

Just by virtue of the fact that blacks represent only about 12% of the total population....... that alone proves there will NOT be as many. You'd have to examine percentages.
