By curling up, I don't mean a full curl or on the ground, I mean more like cringing or freezing in place from pain, or flinching or tightening up and slightly turning to the side. They are just alternative suggestions.

The witnesses tended to say that Micheal Brown surrendered as well...

Not a full autopsy report, no, but basic information about what happened.

It seems many tend to believe it is never racism. Ever. In every case like this the same people leap on the side of the shooter instantly, despite the case being generally unclear.

    Independent investigators...lawyers...prosecutors...media...

He's not being charged with a lack of accuracy but whether or not his use of force was necessary.

    A lot of "racist" shots.

Obviously...which is why it would make sense he was surrendering...especially after getting shot at 6 times

Having been on the shooting end on more than one occasion, I have yet to ever see an individual get hit several times and then try to surrender.

Of course, your position is that he was, in fact "trying to surrender". Arguments can me made from that assumption...on both sides of the fence.

We don't know what happened yet. There's too many bogus claims, too many "stories" and not enough factual evidence released to know the entire story. However, as more does get released, it appears that the events aren't so indicative of the outright racist shooting of an "innocent black teenager" that so many looters, criminals and animals have been carrying on about.

If the facts indicate the cop did not have justification to shoot, then I expect him to be punished accordingly. On the other hand, if the shooting is justified, I expect the town of Ferguson will erupt, we'll have more black gangs attempting to take revenge in whitey all across the nation, a la Trayvon.

There are a lot of question. I'm with you on this, we need to be as unbiased as we can. I tend to lean for the police, in part, because I'm married to former cop. They don't do it for the pay. There has to be a reason the cop let bullets fly. If not, he'll pay the price. But if that cop had it out for Brown, why wait until after there was a struggle in the car before shooting him. Why not walk up to him and murder him without the need for struggle?

And why did Brown turn around? Had he already been shot in the arm three times prior to turning around? Questions abound.

I don't think he set out to kill someone that morning. Perhaps after the initial struggle his judgment was clouded...you see cops beat down people who lead them on high speed chases all the time...adrenaline flows and people get crazy.

Or maybe the guy charged him and he was completely justified. Who knows?

I don't have a position other than it seems odd to charge a guy with a gun let alone a guy who is already shooting at you

I would agree it doesn't make sense, but we have no idea of what was going on in his mind. Hell, maybe he thought the cop wouldn't actually shoot him, or maybe he thought he could get to him before he did...we don't know. All we know at this point is that he was facing the cop when he was shot, there are witness reports he was charging the officer, there are reports he was running away, there are reports he was trying to surrender, reports that the cop has an orbital fracture in his face, and various other versions of events.

We know the shots went into the front of Brown. It's fair to say this indicates he was either not running away and charging the cop when he was shot...or he was standing, facing the cop and surrendering, or he was shot first, then turned and ran away.

We also know that to this point, the cop has been on the force for about 6 years, and no reports or disciplinary actions have been reported against him in those 6 years.

Given just that info, it is LIKELY that the cop didn't shoot Brown if he was in fact surrendering and he definitely did NOT shoot him while he was running away. That doesn't mean it is FACT the shooting was justified. We won't know that until the evidence is presented...and we may never actually know the full truth.

    Determined by whom?

Oh the one witness that came forth after the fact.

    Can you post those reports.

    - - - Updated - - -

BS, most shootouts are only about 3 or 4 shots and that is with someone shooting at them.

Ummmm.......ALL witnesses come forth after the fact. It is kind of the whole reason they are a WITNESS.

Around 6 yes. That doesn't include anything like a misfire. Which would subtract another round from the mag.

So you prefer the witnesses who come forth before the fact ?!

From what I've been reading about the corroborative stories... I don't blame ya.

Yeah, I guess that many scenarios are possible when speculating. Now I'm hearing that the shot audio may be a hoax or doctored.

What basic information do you want before the detectives even begin to investigate. This isnt CSI FFS.

Another dishonest hoax. Isn't it amazing how the media will air a video without proof of authenticity in one case, but not in another?

    .

I agree. If there were 10 shots fired outside the cruiser, then there were a total of 11 shots fired. One in the cruiser. A SIG only holds 12 rounds

You are forgetting something. Even CNN is admitting now that they were punked. The audio tape is a fake.

My bad that's right the only credible witness is the one who tells what you want to hear.

CNN was nearly breathless in their reporting of this video yesterday.

I find it telling that when something surfaces which paints a negative picture of a something the media supports, they look for multiple confirming sources and still report the news as skeptics.
