A question for our British posters. What exactly is the Ukip party. What is this parties goals and what do they stand for? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-Farages-staggering-44-point-lead-Tories.html
UKIP is a rag-tag party of racists, swivel-eyed loons and defecting Tories who think that the devastation the Tories have wrought on the country since they got into power isn't half enough. They are a repository for the votes of the disaffected and disillusioned. The Daily Mail's wet dream (hence their coverage) Farage, the leader, is an opportunist anti-Europe, anti-immigration anti NHS little Englander who has somehow recruited a sitting Tory MP to defect. He has such a large majority that given the current unpopularity of the Tory party, he might well successfully defend his seat against an official Tory candidate at the coming election, giving UKIP it's first and only elected Member of Parliament.
I believe they mostly defend the rights of fish. They deny the existence of man made climate change. But secretly know it's true and encourage it to give fish more places to swim. More can be read about them here.
their leader and his wife are germans, Farage is not an english name. yet they claim to speak for the english and for england and against immigration. Hypocrites. Go back to germany.
I'm not a Brit but I have 'minded the gap' a few times. UKIP is getting a fair amount of attention in recent UK politics. Most recently - like a couple of days ago - a conservative member of Parliament announced that he has switched from the conservative party to UKIP and will stand as such in a by-election. The Members name is Douglas Carswell, who is/has been a highly respected member of Parliament. His party change was a bit of a stunner. There is some topic on Carswell at Douglas Carswell Blog which might assist you to understand a bit about UKIP... Carswell has recently authored a book - The Plan, along with Daniel Hannan who is a UK representative to the Euro Parliament, MEP. The book topic describes steps that a new government needs to take to shift power back from Brussels to Westminster, from Whitehall to town halls, from the state to the citizen. Daniel Hannan is highly regarded among conservatives in the U.S.
UKIP is a party which seeks to remove Britain from the EU basically http://www.ukip.org/ The manifesto is located on the top left. Contrary to the tabloids of this country UKIP isn't a racist party, yes some members have had controversial ideas but you could say that about almost any organisation. They aren't primarily seeking representation in the UK but in the EU parliament.
Farage isn't German and they don't claim to "speak for the english" Considering you're not even a Briton yourself maybe you should go back to "Afrika" to use your logic.
The EU has gone about it all wrong and the UKIP is a symptom of that. European countries should be able to print their own currencies so that they can fail at their own rates.
No he's not. And you aren't Welsh either this is due to the fact that you're using American English which isn't taught anywhere in the UK ergo you cant have been educated here nor as such raised in the UK. You're not from Britain. - - - Updated - - - Well we don't have to worry about using the Euro as we still have a currency that is superior to both the USD and Euro.
Evidently the newscaster thinks British is a race. That is the insanity of liberalism both in Britton and in the USA, that controlling your borders is racist. What nonsense.
Kay Burley for you. Hell it's Sky news, forget about professional and impartial journalism. But there's one thing I'm not and that's European.
Sky News is of course the British version of Murdoch's Fox News. Britain is politically, economically and geographically part of Europe. You're European.
No. I'm not. Geographically we're not actually a contiguous part of the continent. Economically the EU has restricted trade and made things harder, not easier. Politically there is realistically 'no say' in the EU parliament. So no I'm not a European and there is no common European identity so that doesn't make any sense.
It is. You still can't spell and why don't you try and prove that I'm not British. By the way your don't add a hyphen (-) into "American English".
its 'why do you try..' not 'why you try..'. clearly youre not british as americans say 'why you try and..'.
No. That was just a minor typo. I simply forgot to add the word "Don't" which has now been added. As I said prove that I'm not British. We've already established that you're not due to the fact that you use American spelling.
This is not about me. you have been reported for turning this topic personal. Back on topic; Nigel Farage, the leader of anti-immigration party uKip has a german wife, kirsten mehr and he himself is from a 19th century german immigrant whose ancestry is French.
Thought so. Gutless. And while we are at it if you really want to be treated fairly then you'll have to stop accusing me of being racialist, racists or anything else for that matter without sufficient evidence. And no Farage isn't German. What you've said doesn't make sense.
