What's you're relevant price?

Price is relevance... and when speaking of wine one should always know his economics....

 

Usually $20 - $50 is my average price range. With Chianti I usually splurge a bit more.

I'm also more of a Scotch and Bourbon fan.

Chardonnay is my favorite. I like the buttery okay ones. I just got back from Santa Barbara and had a really good Fess Parker chard. On the red side Cabernet is my fav.

 

Bogle Cab... absolutely amazing. Especially with bread and goat cheese.

Chard is amazing.... by far my favorite white wine. Absolutely love Chard.

 

Honestly people.

You need to find some Australian wines from the Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, Hunter Valley, Margaret River.

Most wines from these regions make some of the European plonk taste like dog wee.

 

Wine is something I wish I liked more because it's always seemed so fun to try and find new wines and go to vineyards. I live in the Lake Erie region so there are a decent amount of wineries in my area.

I tend to like red wines that don't have a strong alcohol taste and I don't like dry wine. I suppose that basically just makes it spiked fruit juice. White wines in my experience(at least the ones I've tried) seem to have that alcohol taste more than red so I haven't really found a white wine I really like.

I'm not sure if these are wine "types" or just the names given by the winery, but I like Heritage brand Fredonia, Isabella, and Half & Half. They also make what they call a "holiday wine" which has cinnamon and clove and is supposed to be served heated. I've liked that when I've had it too.

 

I generally like Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay. I have a bad habit of ordering wine and food before I consider how they'll pair.

 

many good restaurants have a well-trained staff, choose the wine you want and then ask them for a food match

 

I like the Biltmore malbec with a good med rare ribeye.

You must be older. The young like the white wines while the older, whose taste buds have been per-disastered, prefer the reds. I too like the earthy reds, but I am old. I am much more of a beer and single malt scotch aficionado though.

Hmmm, so far the only thing you have accused me of being wrong about is me saying I drink wine. Now, show your proof. Maybe you have had too much wine to respond rationally.
