Another study has come out showing that liberal cities (and that typically extends to counties and often to states) have the worst income and housing inequality issues. Though not mentioned here, they typically have the highest levels of racial segregation as well.

The left wing echo chamber continues to insist that the opposite is true, conservatives are the ones associated with these things and anyone who disagrees with them is a racist, or something, whatever, (*)(*)(*)(*) you, but for how long can the left cover up the facts?

    Source: http://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2014/10/why-are-liberal-cities-so-unaffordable/382045/
This begs a question: when reality has a "right-wing bias" does that make reality bigoted, racist, hateful, or are liberals just hypocrits when it comes to income, housing and racial segregation?

I think these left wing places should triple the tax on the wealthy, that way the minimum wage of $45 an hour can be put in place, so teens could afford to buy a new Tesla. :roflol:

Liberal hypocrites, their bull(*)(*)(*)(*) is knee deep and they don't even realize it

Now look at all the POOREST states and the MOST MINIMUM WAGE STATES and the worst infant mortality and most early deaths.

If I'm in Manhattan and make $55k a year, and there are BILLIONAIRES on numerous blocks, the wealth gap will be OUTRAGEOUS.
If I live in San Francisco and make $45,000 a year and there are MILLIONAIRES on every black, the wealth gap will be HIGH.
If I make MINIMUM WAGE in Houston with 20 energy companies and owners who own the most of the wealth in Texas, the wealth gap will be OBSCENE.

They always accuse the right of what they themselves are doing.....only worse. 7 of the top 10 states with the largest gap between rich and poor are liberal Democrat Blue states.

But that doesn't really make much sense. Most conservatives live in rural areas, liberals in cities. So to say that liberal areas cost more doesn't really make that much sense because they're liberal isn't necessarily true or accurate.

It's interesting if you think about it, liberalism and progressivism really can't exist without conservatism and Christianity. They revolve entirely around the things they criticize. If they didn't, people might look inward and notice there's a man behind the curtain but instead they are occupied with the supposed threat of external Christian people that are supposedly to blame for their own state's domestic problems.

These studies analyze and acknowledge differences in income inequality, even after analyzing differences in base income, as the part I bolded in the OP makes clear. You're prevaricating.

Are you kidding? California has more than 40 million people, and a fourth of them are illegal. This is exactly what liberals hammer all the time, and in truth they are the ones that create the largest gaps in income.

Pay your fair share kranes, that means give up everything you have so millions can stay home and watch Judge Judy

And yet the red states continue to mooch off the federal taxes paid by the blue states. Shame Shame.

So here is an idea, stop mooching, take care of your own and follow the policies that lift people out of poverty as opposed Raygun's trickle down voodoo garbage...

IMO, I think the progressive establishment wants people to be poor so they're dependent on government handouts to survive when keeps individuals supporting their providers - which is the progressive government and that keeps these same progressives in charge indefinitely.

If individuals were self sufficient then they wouldn't need government to provide for them, so what incentive does a government aristocrat have that wants to keep power indefinitely have to promote self sufficiency?

After many moons I have discovered there are selfless politicians and straight up selfish politicians.

Wow talk about useless statistics. First, there are over 3000 counties in the US. Your sample size is 3%. Second, most of the poorest counties include.....(drumroll) Indian Reservations, where the State has no say, only the Federal government does. The ones that don't include Indian reservations?.....(drumroll) Border towns with an extremely high illegal immigrant population who we all know report their income (and also aren't under State control, and are forbidden by the Obama regime to mess in immigration affairs).

COUNTIES!.......NOT (*)(*)(*)(*)ING STATES!....for cheese sake people need to stop comparing states NOW! Democratic counties receive more retirement and grant spending and Republican counties receive more salary and income and housing assistance and other direct grants.

Here is the problem. Most welfare is done at the state level not the Federal level. States handle EBT cards, cities handle housing assistance alongside the Federal HUD program and states handle unemployment and welfare payments. States only get money from the Feds if its passed by congress to extend unemployment benefits. Even then if a state drops below a specific unemployment threshold then it no longer qualifies. States and cities also handle programs that pay for utilities and health care like Badger Care in my state.

While some of the money does come from the Feds in the form of block grants most of it is raised by the states and localities themselves. When you look at which states actually spend the most per person on welfare all around then liberal states way out do conservatives states per capita for one simple reason. Conservative states simply don't vote for it while liberal states do. If you want to work you are better off going to Texas but if you want to collect welfare benefits then you are (*)(*)(*)(*) out of luck as Texas welfare is minimal at best so you better head over to California then.

Frankly the best thing for states like Mississippi would be to cut off all Federal subsidies altogether then maybe they would pull their heads out of their asses and start working on improving their (*)(*)(*)(*)ty state instead of just sucking on the governments titties.

Then we need to end Reganomics and cancel free trade so we actually have the jobs that enable people to actually support themselves otherwise just cut everything and keep up on the current economic path and it won't be long before you see MASS RIOTING and Looting

What does reaganomics have to do with states. Mississipi, Lousiana, Illinois and California and other states in dire situations are in the situations because of decisions THEY made.........not the Feds. In the case of many Souther states they simply refuse to spend any money on improving their situation such as infrastructure or education or even attracting businesses. This has changed in recent years in some Southern states such as Tennessee and the Carolinas and Georgia as they are actually growing faster than any other region in the country these days. The (*)(*)(*)(*) poor states like Miss and Alabama etc simply don't spend ANY money on anything. Its great if you want to live in a trailer and not pay much in taxes but if you want some sort of cosmopolitan stuff to do you are (*)(*)(*)(*) out of luck. States like Illinois and California and now New York have the exact opposite problem. They spent way to much and now are in debt and California will end up having to default on its trillion dollar unfunded debt at some point. They can't kick the can down the road forever.

People deserve the government they vote for. I can only hope that when CA does eventually collapse that that the Feds tell them to (*)(*)(*)(*) off. They made their bed they can sleep in it.

Nope after 35 years of Reganomics when we stopped enforcing the Anti-Trust act and allowed corporations to run wild we are at the Malignant Tumor Stage as a nation

Instead of rewarding the working class we decided the economy should benefit the ShareHolders

Then the Mod edit,,flounder, 2 still believe the answer is tax cuts and to fight Unions and a living wage

Well maybe when a significant majority of southerners are SUFFERING they will stop voting Abortion, Guns, and Same Sex marriage pull their heads out of their @$$es and have a reality check

The left can cover up the facts for as long as political correctness dominates the discussion. I love the irony of the supposedly more intelligent secular people that herald logic and reason whenever confronted with religious beliefs are the same people that ignore data when it comes to social issues.

Of course, I suspect they don't sit around whining about affordable housing for deadbeats, either.

And being a liberal is just another irrational belief system. You make a leap of faith or you're condemned to be purged.

Of course progressives cities have a problem - they keep people poor so they have someone to pander to and to buy votes from - the democratic party or even the progressive party wouldn't exist without poverty.

what does that have to do with the topic?

Are you incapable of discussing a topic and staying on point?

Liberal states and cities have the most wealth disparity among its citizens. Try real hard to focus.

Please explain in detail what changed during the Reagan administration and how that led to income inequality primarily in the liberal cities and states?

Blaming Reagan for our economic problems is getting as stale as the blame Bush excuses.

Illinois is a perfect example. We have some of the highest tax rates for payroll and state income including sales tax. We are ANTI-BUSINESS, and thus we have massive unemployment, and huge wealth disparity. So what does the idiot Governor Quinn do? He offers millions of dollars in subsidizing to corporations to come here.

    WTF?

How about create a business friendly environment and maybe they will come on their own.

The problems with liberals is they blame everybody else for the problems their agenda and their policies create.
