When it comes to 2016 I will be watching two things from this day until election day. 1. President Obama's approval ratings. I think the election of last Tuesday showed that Obama fatigue had started to set it. Whether his approval ratings rise or falls or stays about the same will tell me that answer. 2. I will be looking at political party affiliation/identification. This will tell me which party is up and which is down. I have found out in the past political party affiliation is the best indicator to forecast an election by. But 2016 is a long way away. No predictions as of yet.
I always figured money. The next election will also effect what this new congress does. I doubt anything will get done while Obama is in office and I see conservatives playing to their base and going after him on whatever they can dig up. The two sides will butt heads for the next two years. It'll get really interesting if Obama grants amnesty, or whatever it is allowing immigrants to stay here, by executive fiat. it's going to be a lot of fun.
Hey Rawley, glad you're here. You probably can't post yet if new to the forum but you shouldn't have any problem after tonight. Anyway. Spread the word and the link. Everyone is welcome and no hard feelings. I've already gotten ahold of Cassy and Doris and gave them the link and told them to spread the word. I saw Roberta here and sent here an in-forum email telling her the same. I'll see if I can't get a hold of JJ. Moderators seem cool so far and it looks far more civil place than the sewer. Think of it as a fresh start for everybody. Slate's wiped clean. Nobody is bumped here. lol
G'night everyone. Hope to see the old gang back together sometime soon here. And new posters are always welcomed. Even the crazies.
Interesting and fun. I'm not sure if the president takes executive action on immigration alone how that will work out. according to Rassmussen 62% of Americans are against the president acting alone: http://www.rasmussenreports.com/pub...e_obama_s_amnesty_plan_for_illegal_immigrants I am of the mind to let him do it. Let the chips fall where they may.
H Good luck with that. Native found this place,so you should be eternally grateful to him for finding you a home.
This piece is revealing. The same tactic as was used to make the rules fit policy in regard to torture, redefining the meaning of words, is being used to enable drone killings.
I know there are quite a few people who are against him, just look at this poll: http://www.rasmussenreports.com/pub...ministration/daily_presidential_tracking_poll And I've heard from a solder on youtube that a lot of military personnel disagree with him too,I just hope that something is done about him,the question is no longer,"can we do anything" it's WILL we do anything. according to that poll, the majority of voters disapprove of him, that's at least a little bit comforting.
The GOP congress would kill to have these numbers The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 48% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Obama's job performance. Fifty percent (50%) disapprove
