The liberals victory dance won't last long. Back to being illegals in Jan 2017. Without their ability to actually vote in the 2016 election, this boomerang will hit the Democrats right between the eyes considering the numbers of folks against it. Elections have consequences, look at the hit the Democrats took 3 weeks ago and in 2010. Maybe they all need hearing aids, because they just can't seem to hear the people that elected them. To date 29 Democrat Senators who voted for Obama Care won't be sitting in the Senate Chamber Jan 2015. If Obama does what he says tonight, he's virtually guaranteeing another huge Republican victory in 2016. You go Barry, double down on stupid!

With Black unemployment at 11+%, I would like to put forward the notion to the Black Community, while Republicans aren't your best friends........we're your ONLY friends. Join us in stopping Obama's Amnesty dreams.

Looks like the "victory dance" is over before the music's started for a lot of the Left, Professor... three of the major networks, ALL of which customarily kiss Obama's ass until it drips have announced that they won't be carrying His Majesty's Decree Speech tonight: http://money.cnn.com/2014/11/19/media/networks-and-obama-speech/ . PBS, Univision, and some others will, but generally, the hyperliberal Left doesn't want nearly as many "eyes on" this unconstitutional travesty as we thought!

I think it's funny that when you bring up the Google search engine and click on "News" you won't even find the word "Obama" among the top stories! But, of course, Google itself is infested with liberals from top to bottom. Evidently, the hyperlibs are feeling squeamish, and well it is that they should. This time Adolf Obama will be breaking the law one time too many....

Of course. The Democrats Senate plan allows for fast tracking educated High Tech workers into the country. I don't have to tell you what that will do to the wages of U.S. tech jobs. Of course all the American kids/parents paying through the nose at big colleges to get those "good paying" high tech jobs are going to be in for the grand surprise when they go looking for good paying jobs only to find the wages have taken a nose dive, but the student loan payments haven't.

You have touched on a more important point than many have mentioned so far, including me. Many of us have been riveted on all the mobs of peasant-class Mexicans and Central Americans who have been pouring into the U. S. by the hundreds of thousands, and everything about that is wrong, and the Obama regime should have stopped it dead in its tracks long ago.

But, what is perhaps even more damaging to the clobbered American worker who has skills and relevant experience (or used to have them before the "Great Recession") are all the competing high-tech workers in many fields from India, Pakistan, China, South Korea, and the Middle East! These are typically workers whose visas ran out, or had some other scam going so that it would have been "inconvenient" to comply with American law, or whatever.... Once Obama gives all these millions of illegal aliens a "green light", along with a green-card, they'll continue piling in here in record numbers for at least as long as President Adolf remains in office -- and we won't be rid of him (*gag*! *vomit*!) until noon, on January 20, 2017....

Geez........I just vomited hearing Obama's speech. Hey Barry, how about we wait till you're out of office and let the next Republican President cancel your executive order and they become illegal again.

So many kumbaya platitudes, so much bull (*)(*)(*)(*)! Obama says his changing immigration policy, by himself, is legal. The courts will say otherwise.

Regardless of the mechanism used the president cannot nullify legally passed federal law....period!

He's obligated by Article 2 of the Constitution to enforce them. Obama just made sure Hillary will NEVER be President in 2016.

How about the republicans showing some balls by actually addressing the issue thru legislation instead, now that they are going to control both houses?

    What issue?

    There is no issue!

There is no "immigration crisis", that's just Alinsky BS.

What need to happen is this SFB president needs to start enforcing the law, which means actually securing the border and deporting the people who enter illegally.

All I see the president doing is throwing up his hands in helpless despair, and he's trying to disguise his inability and incompetence with some kind of snow job about an "immigration crisis".

The only crisis is that our law isn't being enforced, and therefore we're getting a million new "residents" every year. No one's being fooled by the president's rhetoric either. Here in California you have to prove you've been here for 14 days, that's what it takes to get welfare benefits and food stamps. You don't have to show a driver's license (even though illegals can get one now), because a matricula consular is perfectly acceptable.

The pattern is they come here, they stay with a friend for the first two weeks while they're learning the ropes, then they get welfare which gives 'em enough money to take the bus and go hang out in front of Home Depot or the U-Haul looking for work, and when they find it they don't stop with the welfare, they keep going because the job is off the books. And if it's the other way, the minute one of 'em gets pregnant she gets everything paid for, she gets free food, free medical care, cash, even rent assistance. And the kid gets stuff too, and once the kid's born the mom gets more cash.

It's a wonderful thing, we're helping these people get a leg up, all that is super, but we're talking about 12 million of these families just since 1984. There's only 100 million people working in America, that's more than 10% of the work force.

    so?

I thought you righties were so superior to the leftists.

Are you suggesting that the new congress shouldn't address the issue and simply keep (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)in' about the dems failing to get it passed?

I am good with the Republicans addressing it, which many said they would given the chance once they have the power. But, your team had the power from top to bottom and FAILED.

apparently your knowledge of the illegal immigrant issue is limited. Perhaps you should examine some of the myths you appear to hold near and dear.

Right. The Chamber of Commerce that wants cheap labor, and the bleeding heart kum-ba-ya lefties.

These are the people you trust? The people who have you convinced there's a "crisis"?

Listen pal, the Chamber of Commerce is the single largest lobbying organization in the entire country. They spend more lobbying money than even AARP!

You're being suckered, played for a fool.

Inspite of what Obama may or may have not done, the democrats won't have a problem getting their candidate elected in 2016 since the republicans don't have a viable candidate that can pass muster with the American people. Right now, the democrats could put up and sanitation engineer and win the election in 2016.

Were they really thinking that they "won" something here? All Obama did tonight was validate the last election.

Yes, facts are for fools especially when they reject your opinions.

I fully expect yet another fallacy in response.

    Facts?

    You're kidding, right?

You think the Chamber of Commerce is going to advertise the situation with Tyson Foods?

    Those kinds of facts?

Yah look how good romney did after the 2010 election. Clearly midterms tell us all we need to know about presidential elections.
