What are you ranting about? Obviously you do not comprehend that assisted suicide is a choice that the ill person makes. The hint is in the term "Assisted Suicide".

So God gave you "free will" so you could sin. Right?

And you figure that how, exactly?

with your soul that belongs to God?

Yeah, that second prediction is ridiculous...liberals spend billions on medicare trying to keep old people alive longer, why would they want to kill them? Not only that, a law requiring old people to kill themselves would be against MANY constitutional principles, and directly violate the 5th and 14th amendment due process clauses, so that argument is just ridiculous.

Why should I not be allowed to kill myself? If you are saying that I can't play god, then you are saying that I can't do what I want with my life. Should we make motocross racing illegal since it is so dangerous? Should people be allowed to go skydiving, or do anything that may risk their life? It's my life, not god's (who almost certainly doesn't exist anyways), so I have the right to take it at any time I wish, period.

Suicide is defined by the person who is to die asking for death. Is the government, an heir, or simply a liberal decides someone else needs to die, that's murder.

Assisted-suicide should be allowed and if someone has enough sense to have a living will the doctors should follow the persons instructions if possible.

Liberals ware currently trying to get murder approved by calling it euthanasia. Euthanizing a human is murder.

I don't have an issue I wish I could go to a center, get a nice meal, wash up, a good nights sleep and have government issued medications to go to sleep and die when I'm tired of it all. Who cares if I'm sick or dying I should be free to just die, managed by medical providers, if its my choice. Now I have decide to do myself in have to do it alone and if I bring it up with my doctor its a one way for psychiatric evaluation so that is the sad thing.

If a person is ill and wants to die then commit suicide. Are you going to be prosecuted? The Government has no right to be involved in assisted suicide in any way.

Suicide is so incredibly easy that if you're not a paraplegic it's not tough. I investigated a lot of suicides and most were incredibly stupid so I would prefer a period of counselling before the doctor assists you out. I knew a man who shot himself in the head. He didn't die but he got a crude lobotomy that drastically changed his personality and he was blind. He said what really irritated him was when people asked if he was sorry he shot himself. He said his answer was, "I'm blind but I'm not stupid."

Slippery slope fallacy between voluntary end-of-life and involuntary end-of-life. I support the former, but vehemently oppose the latter.

I don't see how enhancing state power and oppression of those who wish to end their life somehow protects against state use of eugenics against other innocent parties. Seems to me you've got it back to front - their current seizure of bodily sovereignty is indeed the threat.

If old or disabled people want to end their lives - that's their business. I support no state involvement in the process at all. No regulation, no licensing.

I do not support subsidization of such procedures or acts through taxation of any kind.
